Sevilla probably have a better chance than they realise. Franco Vazquez is picked out in space in the box but it's like he was half asleep. By the time he runs for it, Chris Smalling tackles him and it's a corner, which Sevilla can't turn home. Waste.

Ashley Young does well to stop a Sevilla attack and then tries to set up a United one. His ball is aimed at Alexis Sanchez, who makes a run... but it's straight into the elbow of Gabriel Mercado.

Sevilla winger Joaquin Correa, who scored against Liverpool in the group stages, gets the ball on the left. He cuts inside and Antonio Valencia keeps backing off. Eventually he gets to a shooting position without being challenged and his low weak shot is held by David de Gea.

Great play from Alexis Sanchez, cutting in from the left, played a great ball, and Lukaku has actually struck it too well. A great chance for United, best of the match so far.

Alexis Sanchez plays an excellent ball over the top to Romelu Lukaku, who hits it first time on a side-footed volley and it's about a million miles over the bar.

Now Pogba has got an opportunity to show why we were all talking about him before the match. He’s the one you feel can open the game up.

That's Paul Pogba's first Champions League substitute appearance since April 2013 for Juventus against Bayern Munich.

The first thing he does is lose out in a battle with Sergio Escudero, with Juan Mata bringing the Sevilla midfielder down.

Shakhtar have some clever players adept at finding space and so far Brazilian Bernard and Brazil-born Ukraine international Marlos have done just that.

The game is still pretty open with Marlos having a shot saved for the hosts and at the other end Roma striker Edin Dzeko saw his deflected attempt scrambled away after Shakhtar keeper Andriy Pyatov initially couldn't hold it.
