Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla (agg 0-0)

    Alan Green
BBC Radio 5 live at Old Trafford

It was a cautious approach by Jose Mourinho in the first half but he has just ramped it up a notch in the second half. Man United are much quicker now.

Sevilla are still without a proper threat on goal

  3. Can Pogba create a chance (or will Sanchez stop him)?published at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2018

Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla (agg: 0-0)

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

So United turn to their £89m man to try to unlock the Sevilla defence and turn the tie in their favour.

The bad news there is that Pogba is yet to create a single chance for United (in his last 400 minutes of action) when Alexis Sanchez has been on the pitch too.

Now would be a very good time for the pair of them to put that particular statistic, and the claim they struggle to play together, to bed.

    Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla

Alexis Sanchez plays a long ball towards Romelu Lukaku and he turns and shoots but his effort is blocked.

The Belgian's technique was good but that was solid defending.

  5. 'Fellaini received rich applause'published at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2018

Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla (agg 0-0)

    Alan Green
BBC Radio 5 live at Old Trafford

Paul Pogba is on. Marouane Fellaini received rich applause. He hadn't stopped his effort but there was nothing in terms of craft and invention.

  6. Get runningpublished at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2018

Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla (agg: 0-0)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

    Interesting that.

Paul Pogba was warming up on the touchline and Jose Mourinho evidently didn't think he was running enough and waved his arm as it to say 'get moving'.

Pogba did one more sprint down the touchline and Mourinho called him back to replace Marouane Fellaini.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 59 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla

It's that man Paul Pogba coming on. Marouane Fellaini is off.

Jose has clearly been reading all of your live texts and tweets...

Anon: I'm not even at Old Trafford and I want to go home.

Craig: Why does Jose Mourinho play a great team against Liverpool with everyone in their right positions (and we can't even win the league) then play a team like this with so many in the wrong position.

Mic: 'Marcus, you scored twice playing on the left, yeh. Go play on the right' - Jose

  9. History repeating?published at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2018

    Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla

A little history lesson for you - Man Utd have only drawn both legs of a European knockout tie 0-0 once before. That was against Torpedo Moscow in the first round of the 1992-93 Uefa Cup. They lost 3-4 on penalties in that tie.

  10. CLOSE!published at 58 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla

Marcus Rashford takes on Sergio Escudero before laying it off to Alexis Sanchez. The striker's effort is blocked and then Sevilla counter.

Luis Muriel is inches away from getting on the end of a cross but Eric Bailly does just enough to put him off and it's out for a goal-kick.

  11. Postpublished at 56 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla

Ashley Young finds Romelu Lukaku with a nice ball down the left but the Belgian's attempted cross towards Marcus Rashford takes a small deflection and it's comfortably picked up by Sergio Rico.

  12. Roma marching through?published at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2018

Roma 1-0 Shakhtar Donetsk (agg 2-2)

Edin Dzeko's goal has given the Roma fans a much-needed boost and the Stadio Olimpico is rocking.

As it stands, Roma will progress to the quarter-finals, thanks to that away goal from the first leg last month.

  13. 'There's got to be a change'published at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2018

Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla (agg 0-0)

    Alan Green
BBC Radio 5 live at Old Trafford

We've actually seen a little more urgency this half. There's been more action in this half than the entirety of the first.

There's got to be a change or two though sometime soon, surely?

  15. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla

Joaquin Correa steps inside, skipping through challenges and unleashes a low drive towards David de Gea's goal.

It's always going wide though and De Gea looked to have had it covered.

Johnny: That is absolutely world class from Eric Bailly. No two ways about it. He ran across the box and it was a perfect hook. Incredible and could prove pivotal. This guy is putting himself everywhere. Fantastic defender. Big, big fan.

Andrew: Paul Pogba and Juan Mata on for Felliani and Sanchez please. Have the last 3 managers (Including the current one) deliberately coached players to be slower than the slowest sloth ever to exist.

  17. CLOSE!published at 52 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Sevilla

Jesse Lingard, who has now switched on to the right-hand side with Rashford on the left, has a good effort saved from Sergio Rico after it's played into him by Romelu Lukaku.

    It was inches away...

    Edin Dzeko

Roma have the lead and it's that man Edin Dzeko.

He beats the offside trap, latching onto a through ball and toe pokes the ball past Andriy Pyatov into the back of the net.

Steven N'Zonzi thinks he wins the ball but referee Danny Makkelie thinks otherwise and whistles for a free-kick on a tackle on Alexis Sanchez.

The Sevilla midfielder is not happy about it.
