  2. Postpublished at 80 mins

    Rochdale 1-1 Tottenham

What a save! Dale keeper Josh Lillis is sharp on his toes to push over Juan Foyth's bullet header from that corner.

Hang on, there was an infringement anyway so it wouldn't have counted. Take nothing away from Lillis though, he wouldn't have known.

Spurs are still on the attack and have a corner...

It's an absolute nightmare for Rochdale.

Just as they are tiring, Spurs bring on probably the world's best striker.

Kane's first action is to win a free-kick about 25 yards out. Kieran Trippier gets his mitts on the ball... and drills it straight into the Dale wall. He appeals for handball. Of course he does after a such a poor delivery...

    Rochdale 1-1 Tottenham

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

Oh it was harder to miss than score for Victor Wanyama at the far post. He'll hope he doesn't regret that one. It just comes off his knee.

  10. Postpublished at 73 mins

    Rochdale 1-1 Tottenham

Should be two for Spurs! Erik Lamela drills the corner into the six-yard box and the ball is flicked on to the far post where Victor Wanyama must score. Surely! No, he's somehow put it over the bar.

  12. Postpublished at 71 mins

Much better from Spurs now. They're knocking the ball around more confidently, moving the play from left to right and back again, trying to tire out their opponents.

    Spurs corner...

Finally, the travelling Spurs fans have something to shout about. They have been pretty quiet so far - drowned out by the Dale fans next to them - but now they are belting out "We are Tottenham, Super Tottenham from the Lane". Not strictly true, this season at least, but I'm not going to tell them that.

  16. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Rochdale 1-1 Tottenham

Chance here perhaps? Rochdale have a free-kick about 25 yards out, just to the left of centre.

Callum Camps lines it up Ronaldo-style, only to tamely drag it wide of the left-hand post.

  17. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Rochdale 1-1 Tottenham

A few glum looks are starting to break out across Rochdale faces now. Right-back Joe Rafferty shanks a pump upfield out of play for a throw-in - much delight of the Spurs fans behind him.He shakes a weary shake of the head.

  18. 'Spurs have stepped it up'published at 17:24 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2018

    Rochdale 1-1 Tottenham

    Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One

Spurs have stepped it up and Rochdale have dropped a little. It was always going to be very hard to maintain that energy from the first half.

The tempo is much better from Spurs. The speed of the passing, people are running off the ball more and they are pressing much higher up the pitch.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 63 mins

Mauricio Pochettino decides it is time for a change. Not sure if this was coming before the goal anyway or not...

Erik Lamela is the man summoned, with Harry Winks making way.

    Rochdale 1-1 Tottenham

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Crown Oil Arena

Restrained applause and a single fist pump represented the Spurs' VIPs reaction to that equaliser.

Compared to their 82nd minute equaliser at Newport in the last round, today's leveller has come pretty early.
