Three-quarters of the stadium erupted when that ball hit the net.
The row behind me remained stoney faced.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy blew his nose and that was about the total movement from the visiting directors behind me until the whistle blew and they rose to walk off to the hospitality area without a word.
Penny for their thoughts.
Rochdale 1-0 Tottenham
Spurs may have hogged the ball, as you can see from our graphic, but they are behind in the one stat that really counts.
Despite almost 65% possession for the visitors, and six shots to Rochdale's three, the home side have probably created the clearer opportunities.
Ian Henderson missed two glorious chances remember, before finally getting his reward.

Dan Pope: Beautifully worked goal from Spurs there and some League One defending from Rochdale... Oh hang on.
Rochdale 1-0 Tottenham
Alan Shearer
Former Newcastle striker on BBC One
They've been magnificent. It would've been so disappointing for Rochdale if they hadn't gone in ahead, they created the best chances.
Their success has been closing down in midfield and then playing some nice neat football.

You could argue that they deserve that lead because they have been superb. It's a great pass from Andy Cannon. Ian Henderson wasn't going to miss was he.
I said Spurs had to be careful.
Rochdale 1-0 Tottenham
We said it'd be great if Rochdale got to half-time goalless....
Ian Henderson
Well, well, well!
Ian Henderson can forget about those two chances he missed earlier - he's put the League One bottom side ahead!
Rochdale spring forward on the counter, Spurs are wide open, and Andrew Cannon plays the perfect pass to his skipper. He does the rest.
A composed finish guides it past Michel Vorm and sends about 8,000 Rochdale fans delirious!
Rochdale 0-0 Tottenham
Harrison McGahey and Son Heung-min have a good old tussle on the right flank as Spurs try to mount another attack. Only one winner there... Son as it turns out.
But Callum Camps is on hand to break down the Spurs move and then Rochdale break on the counter...
Rochdale 0-0 Spurs

Some of their Rochdale's last ditched defending has been excellent.
The defenders have been in the right place.
Rochdale 0-0 Tottenham
A nervy moment for Rochdale as they try to see this through to the half-time oranges. Son and Fernando Llorente look for the one-two, but the South Korean's touch is heavy and bobbles back - via the knee of Dale defender Joseph Rafferty - to home keeper Josh Lillis.
Rochdale 0-0 Tottenham
Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One
It's imperative for Rochdale to get to half time without conceding. It would give them a massive boost to get into the second half level.
The quality has been really good coming into the box. Three times Kieran Trippier has been there [at the back post] with really good defending.
Rochdale 0-0 Tottenham
Rochdale lob in another high ball from the right flank towards Matt Done at the far post, again Kieran Trippier is ready and waiting to head clear.
Excellent positional play again from the England full-back.
Rochdale 0-0 Tottenham

Former England midfielder on BBC One
Great defending from Harrison McGahey. Ryan Delaney thought he had him but Lucas Moura just put himself into fifth gear and he was gone. He's electric isn't he?
He can just go up the gears very very quickly with that good close control.
Rochdale 0-0 Tottenham
Worried yet Spurs fans? It's nowhere near as bad as Newport - yet - but there have been warning signs from Rochdale.
Rochdale 0-0 Tottenham
Smoke comes out of Lucas Moura's heels. He is quick. The Spurs new boy sticks on the burners to race past Ryan Delaney on the right flank, cutting in to the box and trying to find the waiting Fernando Llorente. Harrison McGahey has other ideas, racing across to stop the cross reaching its destination.
Rochdale 0-0 Spurs

If you wanted that chance to fall to anybody it would have been Ian Henderson but to be fair to Rafferty he just snatched at it.
How are Rochdale bottom of League 1?
Rochdale 0-0 Tottenham
Best chance of the game? Probably. And it falls to Dale top scorer Ian Henderson. More patient football from the League One side before Callum Camps dinks a delightful over the top of the Spurs defence to his skipper.
However, Henderson sees the back of the net bulging before he's connected.. and shanks well wide with only Michel Vorm to beat.
Rochdale 0-0 Tottenham
Danny Murphy
Former England midfielder on BBC One
It was a good move again from Spurs and a brilliant pass from Son Heung-Min. And what a good pass from Kieran Trippier. You're dying for someone to tap it in.
Rochdale 0-0 Tottenham
Spurs are starting to knock a little louder on the Rochdale door now. Son sprays a Hollywood ball out to Kieran Trippier on the right flank and the right-back drills in a wonderful first-time cross across the Dale goal. The home defence manage to hack clear, but only as far as Lucas Moura. He shoots... high over the bar and the Pearl Street Stand.
