Jon, Spurs fan in Eastleigh: this is like that scene in Mike Bassett where they train without the ball!

Anon: This referee's performance was summed up after he decided to put white spray on the snow

Thomas McLaughlin: Can’t see the ball much anymore, just looks like a load of men running around aimlessly, must be what non-football fans see during every game

    Spurs 5-1 Rochdale

Would anybody object if they ended this early? It's freezing, we can't see the ball and Spurs have won.

    Ten minutes left.

  3. Watch: Llorente seals his hat-trickpublished at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2018

    Now here's the hat-trick header...

  4. Postpublished at 78 mins

    Spurs 5-1 Rochdale

A ball boy tries to throw the ball to Danny Rose. But his throw is wayward and Rose was blowing his hands trying to warm them up anyway. It's been a strange game. I just hope they can get it finished now - nobody wants to do this game again.

  5. Watch: Llorente grabs his second goalpublished at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2018

    Check out Spurs' third goal...

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 76 mins

    Spurs 5-1 Rochdale

Rochdale bring on 16-year-old Daniel Adshead for Andrew Cannon, who hit the post a long time ago.

    Spurs 5-1 Rochdale

I might be showing my age here but I remember watching something like this on a video called Nick Hancock's Football Nightmares where you couldn't see the ball. I think it was in the Northern Irish league.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 74 mins

    Spurs 5-1 Rochdale

I can't say what it's like for the players on ground level obviously but it's so hard to see the yellow ball. Erik Lamela hits the post and I only know that because I heard the clang of the woodwork. Dele Alli can't turn the rebound home.

  9. Postpublished at 73 mins

    Spurs 5-1 Rochdale

The referee is not happy with some wall shenanigans and calls Jimmy McNulty out but doesn't book him.

    Spurs 5-1 Rochdale

Spurs have a free-kick on the edge of the box as Erik Lamela is fouled by Jimmy McNulty.

Tim, Marlow: What we need now is for the VAR official to decide that the snow has become too heavy and that the game needs to be abandoned

Martyn, Reigate: Can we have the orange ball please, or does that have to go to VAR as well?

Kev Barnes: Bring back the orange ball..

  12. Watch: Llorente restores Spurs leadpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2018

This goal feels like an age ago now, but here's the moment Fernando Llorente opened the floodgates.

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Wembley

Keith Hill doesn't striker me as a romantic but he has shown a touch of class there.

With the game lost he has brought on Joe Thompson, the forward who has twice battled back from cancer.

I interviewed him in the summer. What a humble man.

    He deserves this.

Tonight's attendance by the way is 24,627.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 68 mins

    Spurs 5-1 Rochdale

No hat-trick for Son Heung-min as he's replaced by Dele Alli. I am really shocked that Mauricio Pochettino has brought on two first-choice players here.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 28 February 2018

    Spurs 5-1 Rochdale

There was a nice moment just before that goal as Rochdale midfielder Joe Thompson, who has recovered from cancer twice, replaced Mark Kitching to play at Wembley.

Is he grimacing because he can't see or is that a smile from Fernando Llorente?

GOAL - Spurs 5-1 Rochdalepublished at 65 mins

    Son Heung-min

It's turned into a rout. Lucas Moura, who has been involved in plenty of Spurs' moves, finds Erik Lamela down the left and he squares the ball for Son Heung-min to tap into an empty net from inside the six-yard box.

Son is chasing a hat-trick now. Shame he messed up that penalty...

  18. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Spurs 4-1 Rochdale

Spurs keeper Michel Vorm comes to the edge of his box to clear a cross. I can't say whether he was inside or outside the box as I can't really see the lines.

Tony, London: Is there a maximum time after a goal has been scored that VAR can disallow it? Can I celebrate Llorente's first goal?

Anon: Finally Llorente clicks. The moment we have all been waiting for. COYS

Anon: Right foot, left foot, header. Perfect hat-trick for Llorente! Pushing Kane for his spot....?!

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 62 mins

    Spurs 4-1 Rochdale

Spurs make a change in midfield as Harry Winks is replaced by Mousa Dembele. Bit surprised to see the in-form midfielder come on at this stage in these conditions in a game that is probably won.
