Liverpool 3-0 Man City
Nicolas Otamendi is booked for lunging in at Roberto Firmino, and that's the whistle.
WHAT a half for the home side. A shocking scoreline, to be frank.

Michael: Have to question the use of Laporte at left back given Delph and Denilo have played there all season. Oh well at least we have the PL.....
Steve: How bad is Kyle Walker playing?! Get your gloves off and get involved!
Adam: Looks like the Otamendi who plays for Argentina is on the pitch, not the one who plays for City!
Liverpool 3-0 Man City
Gabriel Jesus has had 13 touches. Only Ederson (12) has had fewer.
Nicolas Otamendi has a shot borne of frustration but he can only whip one wide on the stretch.

City have had good possession, but they have done nothing with it. Liverpool have been dynamic, they have hurt City with those balls in behind and those runs.
To a man they have been better. They have hurried more, tackled more, crowded the opposition, not letting Kevin de Bruyne and David Silva dictate, Gabriel Jesus has barely touched the ball.
Barcelona 1-0 Roma
It's not been a great first half, but Barcelona lead thanks to the fourth Champions League own goal in their favour this season.
Liverpool 3-0 Man City
Still no shot on target for Manchester City as we edge towards half time...

I'm sure Guardiola will change things at half time. Ilkay Gundogan doesn't look comfortable. City need a goal, so I’m sure we’ll see Raheem Sterling come on,. That’s what I would do.
Liverpool 3-0 Man City
Roberto Firmino leaves Vincent Kompany for dead with a nice move away from him, he beats another for pace and then pings a left-footed shot over the top. That was hit beautifully.
Barcelona 1-0 Roma
Lorenzo Pellegrini slams the resulting free-kick into the wall. Good response from Roma though.
Barcelona 1-0 Roma
Roma want a penalty as Samuel Umtiti fouls Lorenzo Pellegrini exactly on the line of the penalty box. Referee says free-kick. That was so close. Could have gone either way. 50-50.

The question for Liverpool is do they continue the way they are going? Because 3-0 is a fantastic score to take to the Etihad.
It would be beyond their wildest dreams, stopping City scoring as well as the goals.
Liverpool 3-0 Man City
Manchester City have a long spell of patient probing play but, as they are jeered by a riotous Anfield, City can't find anything at all. Kevin de Bruyne has a furrowed brow. He's not been used to this.

Tom: Liverpool's European pedigree is showing here. Maybe Man City's elusive weakness is inexperience in Europe?
Stuart: I'm still pretty confident Liverpool will throw this away. One away goal changes this completely.
Harry: I hate a cliche but it's a game of two halves and if Manchester City can see this half out there might be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for them after all. I'm also not a fan of irony.
Liverpool 3-0 Man City
Gabriel Jesus is lucky not to see yellow for a kick out at Andrew Robertson. Ian Dennis reminds me that Liverpool were 3-0 up in Seville this season and threw it away. There's plenty of hope yet for Pep and co, the only problem is that Liverpool look like scoring every time they have the ball!
Loris Karius hasn't had to make a save yet.
Liverpool 3-0 Man City

Liverpool have rattled and unsettled Manchester City like no other team this season. City's defence may be this vulnerable against other teams - the problem they have here is that Liverpool have the attacking players who can punish the tiniest flaw.
There is an air of thunderous disbelief around Anfield.
Daniele de Rossi own goal (38 mins)
Barcelona lead - and it's Roma captain Daniele de Rossi who puts the ball into his own net.
Lionel Messi finds Andres Iniesta, who tries to play the ball back to the Argentine forward. De Rossi slides in in a desperate bid to keep the ball off Messi - but all he does is turn the ball past his own goalkeeper from about 16 yards out.

Nick: I don't believe it! This is incredible, Anfield European nights again
George: Liverpool 3-0 up! Unbelievable scenes! All over before 2nd leg? I think so. More goals definitely.
Donald: Mane! What a game! Liverpool are dominant and merciless. If it were a video game, I would have just selected the quit game option. Sadly, it's not possible for Man City.
Liverpool 3-0 Man City
Tremendous run from Andrew Robertson who burns off Nicolas Otamendi and Fernandinho to get a shot away and it's cleared away for a throw.
This is Klopp's Heavy Metal football alright.

Wow! Unbelievable scenes at Anfield.
They have three men attacking that ball from Salah, Mane is unmarked, heads it into the ground and past Ederson. Liverpool are 3-0 up and only half an hour gone.
