Sissoko never looked comfortable at any stage. A good run and the touch is OK from Kane's pass. You wish it was the other way around as Kane can finish. He just freezes a little.

We have SIX minutes of added time following those head injuries to Richarlison and Kieran Trippier.

Harry Kane plays an excellent pass into Moussa Sissoko and the midfielder has acres of space to shoot in the box.

His strike flies high over the bar though. Waste.

Ricky: Kane might have yet another goal, but much like the FA Cup semi final he has be utterly woeful.

Erik Lamela hassles to keep the ball in the Watford box but he's hounded by several defenders and pushed out wide before giving away a throw-in.

Andy: Presumably Sissoko still getting game time as the Spurs board try to save face on the ridiculous sum paid for him?

Jon: Lucas got to be wondering what he must do to get field time let alone a start his lack of playing is baffling me as he looks up for it and has had a good showing every time he has played.

Harry Kane really wants that Golden Boot. He opens up some space for himself, steps a yard inside and tries to curl it into the top-right corner.

He completely miscues it though and it flies high into the stands.

Troy Deeney's sloppy pass is picked up by Victor Wanyama before Abdoulaye Doucoure fouls the Spurs' midfielder.

Watford were in a nice position then but once again, their end product is extremely poor.

Erik Lamela makes a bright start - rolling away from Richarlison - before charging through the middle.

He has Harry Kane to his left but instead tries to beat another two players and is tackled.

Dele Alli has had a good game, been cool, calm and composed. Took his goal well. He should be happy with his night's work.

Erik Lamela replaces Dele Alli for Spurs, while Watford's Andre Carrillo comes on for Will Hughes. The Englishman isn't happy about being taken off and he shrugs his shoulders as he makes his way to the bench.

He's been excellent this evening.

Tottenham have space on either side as they patiently mount another attack but they are too slow and it's forced backwards before Kieran Trippier miscontrols it on the right.

An important 5-10 minutes for Tottenham. There will be plenty of time added on but they need to take the sting out of the game. Watford will throw everything at them. It is important they don't concede one to give them an ounce of hope.

Those injuries have taken a bit of a sting out of the game - at a time when Watford were just starting to creep in a few chances. Gerard Deulofeu has made a difference since coming on.

I think Watford have a good squad, and get underestimated, but they have just underachieved this year. I don't think that helps Javi Gracia's prospects of staying on at the club.

Amid those two disallowed goals, Moussa Sissoko replaced Son Heung-min for Tottenham.

Jamie: Lucas must be wondering what he needs to do to get a start in the league. Spurs need his pace in a game like this. He would create space for the others.

Richarlison is now up on his feet too - though he has a nasty cut above his eye and a bit of blood coming down from it.

Kieran Trippier goes over to shake his hand but the Watford man is still being checked out.

Kieran Trippier and Richarlison have a nasty clash of heads. The medical staff sprint onto the pitch to attend the players but Trippier is up on his feet and seems to be okay.

Richarlison is still down on the ground and seems in some pain.

That was brilliant, in terms of the play from Vertonghen, That is poor from Kane. He is inches off and he shouldn't give the defenders a chance.

Vertonghen has been a sensation in an average Spurs performance .
