I think that is why Andre Gray has not had as many chances in the team as he would have wanted. He is not clinical enough in front of goal.

I would go as far as to say you can't trust him in front of goal. He gets massive opportunities in front of goal and often squanders them.

Harry Kane knocks it on for Son Heung-min and the striker slips it past Craig Cathcart, encouraging a foot race.

Son almost wins it but Cathcart recovers well to get his foot in and steal the ball away just in time.

Positive stuff from Son!

A lot of people get frustrated with Eric Dier, by how slow he plays. They think he should speed the play up. Can he play in the midfield position, is he mobile enough? But he is ever present, someone you can rely on.

Eric Dier's sloppy shot is intercepted by Etienne Capoue and the midfielder slips it into Andre Gray.

The pass is perfectly weighted and Gray doesn't even need to take a touch before shooting but it's straight at Hugo Lloris.

Jose Holebas tries to take on Kieran Trippier but he barely gets a yard before the England defender slides in and pokes it away.

Excellent tackle.

Tottenham are well and truly in control - with more than 60% possession - and they have made it count.

Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min combine nicely on the edge of the box before Eric Dier shoots from distance.

It's always rising and it doesn't test the Watford keeper.

Kieran Trippier has had to run off and change his boots after he is caught by an opponent. He looked uncomfortable as he went off but he seems OK now.

An absolute gift. It really is. From the keeper coming out it was an easy one to collect. Christian Kabasele jumps in front of him but he should be saving that.

Spurs' keeper Hugo Lloris shows how it's done as he charges off his line quickly to snuff out a ball into the path of Richarlison.

Wayne: Watford might have a chance if Keith Eddy and Barry Endean were playing!

A diagonal ball is fired into the box looking for Kiko Femenia - who had made a darting run towards the back post - but he can't control it.

Richarlison finds himself in space in the box - just a few yards out from the goal - but he slips as he tries to play it into Andre Gray.

It was a lovely reverse pass from Will Hughes to start the move.

Son Heung-min gets forward and has space to pick out Harry Kane in the box. It's missed by several defenders but Kane can't quite reach it before it's desperately cleared away.

Watford need to do better, when Spurs make a mistake they keep giving it away and it allows Tottenham to gain some rhythm.
