  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Reading 0-0 Ipswich

    Goalless at the break.

A point would be realistically enough to keep Reading in the division with Bolton behind.

Their goal difference is far superior to Burton who occupy the final place in the relegation zone as things stand.

Plenty of time for things to change of course.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Sheffield United 0-0 Preston

Nothing doing for either side at Bramall Lane.

This result would end both teams' play-off hopes.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Wolves 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Very much an end-of-season feel to proceedings at Molineux.

Romain Saiss had the best chance for champions Wolves late on in the first half but his header was well saved by Cameron Dawson.

    Chesterfield 1-0 Wycombe

All three of the teams going for third in League Two are losing!

Already-relegated Chesterfield could be about to cause an upset at the other end of the table.

The Spireites' Kristian Dennis broke down the right and picked out Bradley Barry, whose low shot cannoned back off the post before Michael Harriman turned it in.

Notts County are 1-0 down against struggling Grimsby after Nathan Clarke stroked the ball home following a brief scramble in the area.

As it stands, Coventry City will be cementing their place in the play-offs: they're now 4-0 up against Cheltenham.

GOAL: Norwich 0-1 Leedspublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Kalvin Phillips (38 mins)

It might not matter much but that's some strike from Kalvin Phillips.

A corner is half-cleared and eventually comes to the midfielder who thumps home a beauty.

  8. League Two updatepublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Accrington Stanley 1-0 Lincoln City

Alex Revell has doubled his tally to put Stevenage 2-0 up against Exeter, intercepting an underhit back pass to Christy Pym before sliding the ball into an unguarded net. That's damaging for Exeter's promotion hopes.

Luton Town have taken the lead against Forest Green Rovers. James Collins watched his shot saved by Cameron Belford but Danny Hylton pounced to guide the ball into an empty net.

Yeovil also lead against Mansfield after Bevis Mugabi heads highest from a corner. As it stands Coventry, who are now 3-0 up at Cheltenham, will qualify for the play-offs today.

  9. goal

GOAL: MK Dons 0-2 Scunthorpepublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Ivan Toney (35 mins)

Very much over for MK Dons now.

Scunthorpe double their lead, and strengthen their grip on a play-off place, through Ivan Toney's excellent header.

Plymouth's own top six hopes have just taken a dent. The Pilgrims lost possession on halfway, and David Ball picked out Richie Towell to hand the visitors the advantage.

GOAL: Burton 2-0 Boltonpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Lucas Akins (36 mins)

The Brewers double their lead at the Pirelli, and it is poor defending from Bolton as they fail to clear their lines from a corner.

After a scramble in the box, Hope Akpan sends the ball across and Lucas Akins bobbles it in.

The hosts are in firm control now and taking a big step towards survival - while putting Wanderers in deep trouble.

Against the run of play, Burton take the lead in the crucial clash at the bottom of the Championship.

Hope Akpan squeezes in an effort into the top corner from a narrow angle after being teed up by Liam Boyce.

That goal would lift the Brewers up to 22nd, ahead of Bolton and with only goal difference separating them from safety.

  16. Postpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Burton 0-0 Bolton

Bolton are on top in the east Midlands, and Adam Le Fondre has gone close again, sending a dipping left-foot volley from an acute angle flying over the cros bar.

Moments later midfielder Karl Henry volleyed narrowly wide from the edge of the area.

The travelling fans are in good voice, with Phil Parkinson's side looking to end a run of six games without a win.

  17. Postpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Aston Villa 0-1 Derby

Worth noting that if the Championship finishes as it stands now, these pair will meet again in the play-offs.

The Villans are forced into a change as Alan Hutton takes the place of injured left-back Neil Taylor.

  18. goal

GOAL: MK Dons 0-1 Scunthorpe Unitedpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Rory McArdle (20 mins)

As it stands, MK Dons will be playing League Two football next season.

That's good news for Scunthorpe's promotion hopes, as Rory McArdle, with his first goal for the Iron, meets Hakeeb Adelakun's corner at the near post and glances his header home.

There's also been a breakthrough for Charlton against Blackburn Rovers. Ahmed Kashi takes aim from the edge of the box and his shot cannons off Jason Pearce and in.

James: Hoping the Brewers can do the greatest of escapes and beat Bolton today. Miracles do happen

Samuel Miles: People seem to forget that if Wycombe lose, Exeter draw or lose, Notts County draw or lose, and Lincoln City win, they'll be just one point of automatic qualification from League 2- it's (sort of) on!

The final couple of weeks of the season with all its permutations send us journalists, as well as fans, close to the edge Samuel. That's not helping!

  20. Postpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Burton 0-0 Bolton

It's a cagey encounter at the Pirelli Stadium with few clear-cut chances so far.

Adam Le Fondre had a shot deflected behind for Bolton, but Burton were able to clear the resulting corner away.

Barnsley's goal against Brentford means Wanderers have slipped back into the Championship relegation zone on goal difference as things stand.
