  1. League Two updatepublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Stevenage 1-0 Exeter City

    Stevenage goalImage source, Rex Features

Alex Revell has given Stevenage the lead against fourth-placed Exeter after firing into the bottom corner from eight yards out.

That could be good news for Wycombe's promotion hopes, who are still goalless at bottom side Chesterfield.

Elsewhere in League Two, Tom Bayliss' second goal in as many games broke the deadlock between Coventry and Cheltenham. He latched on to Michael Doyle's cross and guided it past Scott Flinders.

The Sky Blues will qualify for the play-offs today if they better Mansfield's result at Yeovil.

  2. goal

GOAL: Aston Villa 0-1 Derbypublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Cameron Jerome (14 mins)

Big goal for the play-off chasing Rams!

Cameron Jerome has his third goal in two games after some neat play by Andi Weimann.

  3. goal

GOAL: Barnsley 1-0 Brentfordpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Kieffer Moore (11 mins)

Barnsley need to win and they've taken the lead!

The visitors have had the best of things so far but the hosts have the first goal through a looped cross from Kieffer Moore that went straight in.

  4. Postpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Hull City 0-0 Cardiff

    Aron GunnarssonImage source, Rex Features

The visitors have been forced into an early change with influential midfielder Aron Gunnarsson having to make way and Marko Grujic taking his place.

  5. Postpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Burton 0-0 Bolton

An early let-off for the hosts as Sammy Ameobi's low cross in from the left flashes across the Burton goal.

Hope Akpan has had an effort for Albion from 30 yards out, but it was an easy save for Wanderers keeper Ben Alnwick.

The Brewers will be relegated from the Championship if they lose today.

  6. HITS THE POSTpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Walsall 0-0 Northampton

Lively start for Northampton Town as Daniel Powell scurries into the box and sees an effort smack the inside of the post before bouncing into the keeper's arms.

The Cobblers will go down today if they lose and either Oldham or Rochdale win.

  7. Postpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 28 April 2018

    Aston Villa 0-0 Derby

Aston Villa still have very, very, very faint hopes of finishing second in the Championship but they'll have to win today to keep them alive.

They've just had a bit of a let off at Villa Park when Cameron Jerome was flagged offside after being played in by ex-Villa man Andi Weimann.

They'll go back up to second in the Championship with a win today.

Norwich midfielder Wes Hoolahan makes his 330th and final appearance for the club today.

Aston Villa have sewn up their place in the play-offs but will still want to get a positive result against potential play-off rivals Derby County.

Although the Villans' season has been extended, one player who will be saying an emotional goodbye to Villa Park today is striker Gabby Agbonlahor.

The 31-year-old, who made his debut for the club in 2006, is being released at the end of the campaign.

The former England striker is the club's leading scorer in the Premier League and, after not being included in the matchday squad today, will leave the club with 75 goals from 341 league appearances.

Paul Heckingbottom left Barnsley to take over as Leeds boss in February

Remarkably for the penultimate week of the season only one of the 11 Championship matches today has nothing riding on it (champions Wolves will break 100 points with victory over Sheffield Wednesday).

    Step forward 13th-placed Norwich v 12th-placed Leeds.

The Canaries have spent the majority of the season firmly ensconced in mid-table, while it's been a slightly more... chaotic season for Leeds.

The Elland Road side were in the top two in September but a dreadful start to 2018 saw them lose to Newport in the FA Cup, sack boss Thomas Christiansen and fall away from top six contention.

To add to their woes their decision to go on a post-season tour of Myanmar has been called "morally corrupt" by shadow sports minister Dr Rosena Allin-Khan and five MPs have signed a public letter calling for them not to go.

Chesterfield's 97-year stay in the EFL came to an end on Tuesday when Morecambe drew with Cambridge United.

    Adebayo AkinfenwaImage source, Rex Features

Will Wycombe Wanderers striker Adebayo Akinfenwa be celebrating promotion at the end of today?

Accrington will win the title if they avoid defeat against Lincoln, or if Luton fail to beat Forest Green. If Accrington lose and Luton win, the title goes to the final day.

Wycombe will be promoted if they win at Chesterfield, Exeter lose at Stevanage and Notts County fail to win against struggling Grimsby. Anything else takes the third promotion place to the final day.

The race for the play-offs is fairly straightforward. Lincoln will qualify for the play-offs if they avoid defeat at Accrington, or if Mansfield fail to win at Yeovil.

Coventry will qualify for the play-offs if they better Mansfield’s result.

Bury were put out of their misery a couple of weeks ago and will almost certainly be joined by managerless MK Dons today.

The Dons need to beat Scunthorpe and for Rochdale and Oldham both to lose just to take their survival fight into the final week.

Northampton will be relegated if they lose at struggling Walsall and either Oldham or Rochdale win. Realistically, defeat sends the Cobblers down anyway if either Oldham or Rochdale pick up a point.

MK Dons v Scunthorpe (15:00 BST)

    MK DonsImage source, Rex Features

It's been a disastrous season for MK Dons.

The League One side, who are 23rd in the table, started the season under Robbie Neilson before sacking him in January and replacing him with Dan Micciche.

However, he won just three of 16 games and went the same way way last week.

The Dons will almost certainly be relegated today even if they beat Scunthorpe and chairman Pete Winkleman has said no prizes will be given to first-team players at their end-of-season awards night on Tuesday.

The players will still attend, but first-team awards have been cancelled.

"This has been an unacceptable season and we are not a football club that wishes to celebrate failure," Winkleman told the club website., external
