    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

Villa's Jack Grealish skips inside and smacks a shot towards goal. It was unlikely to cause Angus Gunn any problems but is headed clear anyway by Grant Hanley.

From the corner Grealish plays a beauty of an inswinging cross which just has too much on it and Gunn claims it easily.

    Barnsley 1-0 Sheffield United

Billy Sharp has only been on the pitch three minutes, but he has already come close to tying this game up.

The Blades striker turns the ball just off target from Chris Basham's cross after a swift break down the right.

  3. Postpublished at 13:02 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

Talking of John Terry, the Villa skipper has had to sit down. It looks like his ankle is giving him grief after that earlier fall when he got accidentally clipped.

He's had treatment, and is carrying on - for now.

  4. Postpublished at 13:00 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

Brilliant defending by Evo Pinto. The Norwich captain throws himself in the way of a fierce goalbound strike by Conor Hourihane.

    John Terry-esque that.

  5. Early change for the Bladespublished at 12:59 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Barnsley 1-0 Sheffield United

Sheffield United make their first change of the game five minutes before half-time, bringing striker Billy Sharp on for Lee Evans.

I'm not sure whether Evans had picked up a knock or if this is an early tactical shift.

  6. 'Must-win game for Villa'published at 12:58 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

Aston Villa started too sluggishly for me but they are slowly getting into the game.

This is a must win for them before they play Cardiff next at Villa Park.

  7. Postpublished at 12:57 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

Good approach play by Villa on the right almost tees up a chance for Scott Hogan

The striker almost gets on the end of a fine cross from Ahmed Elmohamady after a lovely move.

Norwich just about clear it at the near post.

    Barnsley 1-0 Sheffield United

I'll be honest, not much has happened since Gary Gardner's opener for Barnsley.

Jack O'Connell has gone into the book for a hefty challenge on Tykes winger Lloyd Isgrove.

  9. Postpublished at 12:54 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

John Terry took a tumble out wide a few moments ago and is limping a bit. He's not one to over-egg an injury and should be fine.

The former England skipper has played 31 games since joining Villa from Chelsea in the summer. Thirty of those have come in the league.

  10. Postpublished at 12:52 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

Jack Grealish hasn't seen much of the ball so far for Villa, but he shows what he can do with a divine ball out wide to Neil Taylor. It comes to nothing, but if he is given time on the ball he will cause damage.

  11. Postpublished at 12:51 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Barnsley 0-0 Sheffield United

Any sign of a Sheffield United response?

Not so far you'd have to say, as the visitors have yet to test keeper Adam Davies since falling behind.

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

It's been promising by Norwich. Boss Daniel Farke will be pleased after a run of three losses in five.

They have looked bright and busy. Villa haven't really got going yet,

  13. Postpublished at 12:47 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

The first strike on goal goes the way of Norwich.

Josh Murphy wriggles clear on the left wing but his low shot is well saved by Sam Johnstone.

  14. Postpublished at 12:45 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

Villa suddenly pose a threat. A glorious ball in behind by Albert Adomah is cleared by keeper Angus Gunn and a couple of minutes later a clever reverse pass by Jack Grealish almost gets Conor Hourihane in on goal.

    Much better from the visitors

GOAL: Barnsley 1-0 Sheffield Unitedpublished at 12:44 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Gary Gardner (25 mins)

Barnsley v Sheffield UnitedImage source, Rex Features

A huge shot in the arm for Barnsley's survival hopes.

A corner is cleared to the edge of the box, where Gary Gardner is on hand to hammer the ball into the top corner.

Terrific hit by the Tykes midfielder.

    Barnsley 0-0 Sheffield United

It's not quite end-to-end stuff at Oakwell exactly, but it's certainly entertaining.

Barnsley test the Sheffield United defence again, George Moncur curling a shot over the bar from outside the box.

  17. Postpublished at 12:43 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

No damage done so far, but Villa are second best at the moment. Norwich look sharper in the tackle and much more threatening.

  18. Postpublished at 12:41 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

James Maddison pulls rank and takes it for Norwich, but curls it straight over the wall and straight over the bar.

  19. Postpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

Norwich have a free-kick on the edge of the Villa box after a foul on Mario Vrancic.

  20. Postpublished at 12:39 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

Famous last words, but we should have chances today.

Jack Grealish, Conor Hourihane and James Maddison are all in action - to name but three.

    They bring plenty of creativity.
