  3. CLOSE!published at 15:09 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Hearts 0-0 Aberdeen

Terrible defending from Aberdeen, as Andrew Considine is caught out of position, goalkeeper Joe Lewis fails to clear the ball and Kyle Lafferty curls narrowly over from the edge of the box.

Big chance for the home side.

  4. McGinn & Draper lock hornspublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Ross County 0-0 Hibernian

A flavour of things to come in the centre of the park at Dingwall as John McGinn brushes Michael Gardyne aside then gets crunched himself by Ross Draper in a fantastic sliding challenge.

    Abrasive stuff in the Highlands.

    Kyle Magennis

St Mirren are well on the way to another victory as Kyle Magennis' second goal of the season puts the Paisley side ahead at Glebe Park.

Remember, if they better Livingston's result against Morton, Jack Ross' side will be crowned champions.

  6. Fans pay Wilkins tributepublished at 15:04 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

Kick-off at Ibrox came after a minute's silence in tribute to former Rangers midfielder Ray Wilkins, who passed away on Wednesday.

    We're off around the country...

And we're hoping that the power cuts that have hit Tynecastle in the hours before kick-off don't return to haunt Hearts' game against Aberdeen.

  10. Struggling Wellpublished at 14:59 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    St Johnstone v Motherwell

Well travel to McDiarmid Park lying seventh and ahead of their hosts on goal difference but having gone four games without a win.

Saints' three game run without defeat ended with a 4-1 hammering by Aberdeen last weekend.

That was the scoreline in favour of the Perth side in Well's last visit to McDiarmid Park in August.

They gained revenge for that with a 2-0 win at Fir Park in February but have not won in Perth in their eight visits since November 2012.

A low-scoring affair is the most likely with Well having failed to score in four of their past six league games, netting only three goals.

  11. Form favours Donspublished at 14:59 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Hearts v Aberdeen

Aberdeen moved back above Rangers into second place in midweek, are unbeaten in six games and are looking for a fourth straight victory.

Meanwhile, although Hearts are unbeaten in their last 11 home league games, they are without a win in their last six meetings with the Dons.

  12. What exactly is at stake?published at 14:56 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    St Johnstone v Motherwell

    Jonathan Sutherland
BBC Sport Scotland at McDiarmid Park

What is at stake at McDiarmid Park.

Well, £60,000 is the difference between finishing seventh and eighth in the Premiership and that sort of cash goes a long way in Scottish’s football these days.

Neither side is in any danger of being relegated now, but the winner here today can make themselves mathematically safe if both County and Thistle lose.

  13. 'We have to think Aberdeen & Rangers will win'published at 14:54 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Ross County v Hibernian (15:00)

Hibs head coach Neil Lennon on BBC Radio Scotland: "Being back in the technical area makes a massive difference to me.

"I don't know about the players, I think they quite enjoy me being up in the stand.

"It means you can do your job properly again, get the full feeling of the game and the nuts and bolts of the game.

"We have to go into the game thinking Aberdeen and Rangers will win, although Ross County will be buoyed by a great victory on Tuesday.

"Lewis Stevenson hitting 400 games is an amazing achievement.

"Lewie had his testimonial last year, Paul Hanlon will have done 10 seasons this year.

"They’re great professionals and are getting better and better as their careers go on which is a testament to their dedication."

    Scott Davie
    BBC Scotland in Dingwall

New Ross County joint managers Stuart Kettlewell and Steven Ferguson made 20 changes to their starting line-up in their first few games after replacing Owen Coyle.

But the midweek win over Partick Thistle has changed all that.

Not surprisingly, it's same again for the visit of Hibernian as the Staggies seek back-to-back league wins for the first time this season.

That won't be easy as Neil Lennon's side have taken 20 points in an unbeaten run of eight games and have their head coach back in the technical area for the first time in four matches after suspension.

  15. Plenty to play for - Wrightpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    St Johnstone v Motherwell

St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright: "We have to make sure that, if we don't get seventh, we get eighth, so it's important and it's important to finish the season well.

"From our last game, we're looking for a vastly improved performance because it wasn't good enough at Aberdeen.

"It still can be a good season for us overall."

  16. Hibs have the formpublished at 14:50 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Ross County v Hibernian

County ended a run of five games without a win by sweeping aside Partick Thistle last weekend to go above the Glasgow side on goal difference.

But the Dingwall side are still five points behind third-bottom Dundee as they face in-form Hibs.

Neil Lennon's side arrive unbeaten in eight outings and having already drawn 0-0 in Dingwall in July and followed that with a 1-0 win in September.

Hibs also won 2-1 at Easter Road in their last meeting in December and, to end that run, the Staggies will have to secure back-to-back wins in the league for the first time this season.

  17. Championship title beckonspublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Brechin City v St Mirren

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Glebe Park

St Mirren know a win will clinch the Championship if Livingston fail to beat Morton.

The noisy, buoyant travelling fans are full of expectation packed behind the goal and along the famous Brechin hedge.

They’ve been here since about 1.30, aching for this to get going.

They are bursting to get back to the Premiership and will be there - it’s just a question of when thanks to an impressive season that’s sent them well clear at the top.

  18. Killie wary of Jags - Clarkepublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Partick Thistle v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Kilmarnock manager Steve Clarke on BBC Radio Scotland: "We work game to game, week to week.

"I don't think Thistle's recent run of form and our recent run of form will have any bearing on today's game.

"It's a massive game for Partick Thistle. They're down the bottom, they're scrapping for their lives.

"And normally when a team's down there and they get to a situation like this, they perform very well, so we have to be ready for that."

  19. Thistle still have chance to stay up - Archibaldpublished at 14:47 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Partick Thistle v Kilmarnock

Partick Thistle manager Alan Archibald: "It's been tough, there's no getting away from that after losing to Ross County.

"We try and pick the bones through it and we move on to what should be a tough game today.

"It's a different game. We'd have probably made a couple of changes anyway.

"There's a few things we weren't happy with and it reflects in our team selection today.

"It is doom gloom at the moment where we are, we know that, but we've still got a chance to stay in the division."

  20. Blue Brazil on brinkpublished at 14:46 British Summer Time 7 April 2018

    Scottish League Two

Peterhead and Montrose continue their dogfight at the top of League Two, with both away from home.

Montrose, who are behind on goal difference but have a game in hand, have the more difficult task away to third-placed Stirling Albion, who could secure their promotion play-off place today.

Peterhead face a Berwick Rangers side who have dropped to second bottom.

Cowdenbeath, who are 10 points adrift at the bottom, desperately need a victory at home to Clyde if they are to launch an unlikely escape from facing a play-off to retain their place in the SPFL.

Indeed, the Blue Brazil could be confirmed as finishing bottom depending on how results go today.
