Great attempt by Lasse Schone on the follow-up from Eriksen's free-kick. A good shot and a good save.

Great attempt by Lasse Schone on the follow-up from Eriksen's free-kick. A good shot and a good save.
Peru 0-0 Denmark
Christian Eriksen tries to whip his free-kick but the wall stands up to it. The rebound comes back to Lasse Schone who forces a save from range.
It's one that should be saved and held. What the Americans may call a 'regulation' save.
Peru 0-0 Denmark
A strange game this. There's energy but not much quality and it's pretty close in that the final thirds have seen similar action as you can see below.
Denmark win a free-kick, Pione Sisto brought down by Renato Tapia just 25 yards out.
Christian Eriksen... the stage is yours...
Peru 0-0 Denmark
Denmark try to find some groove with a spell of possession in the Peru half. It lasts a while and when they do lose it, Jefferson Farfan fouls Andreas Christensen.
William Kvist is going to need to be stretchered off, looks like a rib problem. Lasse Schone comes on in what is a blow for the Danes.
Peru 0-0 Denmark
That block from Simon Kjaer to deny Jefferson Farfan was quite something wasn't it? But who's caught your eye so far? You can rate all 22 players during the game on your mobile phone. Everyone is quite literally a critic.

Former Republic of Ireland winger on BBC One
Peru started the game well but it has just settled down now. I expected Peru to have possession and for Denmark to soak it up and grow into the game. That is exactly what has happened. The game is lacking real quality in the final third.

Love this Thomas.
Why don't you cut them both in half, stitch them together and just go rogue.

Peru 0-0 Denmark
Best chance of the game. Not surprisingly the lively Andre Carrillo is involved as he slips a ball behind the defence for Jefferson Farfan to latch on to. He has a sight of goal, 14 yards out and it's a super, super sliding block by Simon Kjaer.

Peru have gone man to man, they're conscious of the height advantage. Christian Eriksen will be disappointed with his last corner, his impact in the game has been non-existent.
Peru 0-0 Denmark

There is no real quality being played into Jefferson Farfan yet, and he has had no real chance of getting hold of the ball. Most of the movement is happening in deeper areas for Peru.
Peru 0-0 Denmark
Thomas Delaney breaks from the Denmark midfield and sees glory so has a swing with his left foot. That's well wide.
Peru 0-0 Denmark
Successive corners for Denmark but Peru deal with them well. Remember, they are the third-smallest side in Russia, so these moments represent a threat.

Denmark are showing a little bit more composure now and they are keeping hold of the ball better.
Peru 0-0 Denmark
Denmark with some patient build up and they win a throw in near the Peru area. They pause for breath before launching it into the mixer... headed away.
Any spell of possession in this game is minimal, Denmark currently seeing a touch more of the ball with 120 passes compared to 88 for the side in white.
Peru 0-0 Denmark
We are almost 20 minutes in and one side is having a shot or two while the other tries to settle down. A tricky opening spell for Denmark.
Andreas Christensen concedes a free-kick as Jefferson Farfan tries to run away from him some 45 yards from goal.
Peru 0-0 Denmark
Denmark take the sting out of things and win a corner. A lot of talk about the height difference between these sides. Christian Eriksen swings it in and there's a foul on the keeper.

Wayne: This Peru side are fun to watch! Not afraid to shoot from anywhere, which is a refreshing change from most teams these days
Dave: If nothing else, Peru win the kit World Cup hands down
Lloyd: Early in the match so far, but Denmark are under a severe grilling here.

Peru 0-0 Denmark
A rapid break sees Luis Advíncula race into the final third and it takes an excellent covering tackle by Andreas Christensen to end the attack with Denmark on the ropes.
Peru 0-0 Denmark
Peru have started like World Cup regulars. Energy, pace and a generally inventive feel about them. Keeping this kind of energy level up will be a tough ask though.
Finally a reprieve for Denmark as Pione Sisto wins a free-kick on halfway. Simon Kjaer gives it away though and the counter is on...
