Peru's goalkeepers are the first to emerge to go through their drills, closely followed by Kasper Schmeichel at the other end.
There's a healthy smattering of fans in the stands already even though there are 40 minutes until the off. Here come the rest of the Denmark players, a couple of them polishing off bananas for some late energy input.

Both teams have just arrived at the Mordovia Arena and I can tell you that in leaving their respective buses a lot of them had those white ear phones in with no wire. You know the ones. For me they are a somewhat dubious look.

And of course, Denmark will care little about the Peruvian fairytale.
They have of course already broken a few hearts to get here, notably Irish ones when they thumped Republic of Ireland 5-1 in a play-off.

Ricardo Gareca has guided Peru to the biggest stage, sending the country's people into a frenzy and tempting an estimated 50,000 to make the trip to Russia.
Remarkably, they are now 11th in Fifa's world rankings, a place above their opponents today.
