    Efan Ekoku
Former Nigeria striker on BBC Radio 5 live

Surely the Super Eagles now are flying into their last match with Argentina with a real chance of progressing to the last 16.

I can see a hat-trick for Ahmed Musa. When defensively-minded teams are forced to go offensive it becomes more and more difficult for them and Nigeria have picked them off superbly in this second half.

  4. Postpublished at 79 mins

    Nigeria 2-0 Iceland

Oghenekaro Etebo gets free down the left in the area and wins a corner.

Iceland are looking in real trouble and could conceded a couple more here.

They repel the corner for now though.

When you're bold enough to play two strikers this is what you can do.

Nigeria are winning the individual battles all over the park - everyone is doing their individual jobs.

Look at the way they're celebrating this. Ahmed Musa is absolutely first-class here. His pace just punishes Iceland and then he has the presence of mind to find the finish. It's a wonderful finish, but he makes it look really easy.

GOAL - Nigeria 2-0 Icelandpublished at 75 mins

    Ahmed Musa

He's got his second now though!

Ahmed Musa blitzes down the left channel, taking a long pass perfectly in his stride before gliding easily past Kari Arnason into the area.

The Leicester striker checks back and then rounds Hannes Halldorsson before calmly slotting high into the net, past the covering defenders on the line.

Another exquisitely taken goal. Ecstasy for Nigeria.

Iceland have been forced to play more football and it's left big gaps between their defence and midfield. Another Nigeria goal is looking likely.

    Nigeria 1-0 Iceland

    Efan Ekoku
Former Bournemouth and Nigeria striker on BBC Radio 5 live

We're reaching a point where Iceland are beginning to look a little bit frustrated.

One or two of their players might be beginning to feel the strain.

  13. CLOSE!published at 72 mins

    Nigeria 1-0 Iceland

Nigeria win another corner - it's still Kelechi Iheanacho taking them.

And why not? A vicious ball in sees Leon Balogun rising to head just over the bar.

A second Nigeria goal looking more likely that an Iceland equaliser at the moment.

Victor Moses is so influential in this Nigeria team and he's getting so much space out on the right wing. He looks a threat every time he gets the ball and he's giving his team plenty of width.

  17. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Nigeria 1-0 Iceland

Rurik Gislason cuts in and drives from the left before trying to curl it inside the far post.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 64 mins

    Nigeria 1-0 Iceland

I'm not sure it was smart for Ragnar Sigurdsson to play on after that knock to the head.
