The Swedish fans here are the atmosphere at the moment.

They really have not dropped off all game, which is a credit to them given some of the finishing they have seen.

I've not heard any cow bells from the Swiss fans. Maybe they aren't allowed to bring them in any longer?

    Sweden 0-0 Switzerland

Better from Switzerland, laying siege on the Swedish goal.

Xherdan Shaqiri's dangerous cross is punched away by Robin Olsen and Ricardo Rodriguez's low strike is blocked.

Switzerland, though, carve open a chance at the other end.

The Swedes fail to clear Michael Lang's cross and the ball goes free inside the area.

Xherdan Shaqiri loses his bearings, unable to get a shot away and Robin Olsen pounces on the loose ball.

    More woeful finishing.

Emil Forsberg breaks from midfield and the ball falls to Ola Toivonen inside the box, but he mis-cues his left-footed effort over the bar.

Benny: I'm not confident either of these sides will score in a penalty shootout either!

Jamie: If Sweden still had Larsson they would be 1-0 up (at least). Some terrible finishing so far but imagine him at the end of Lustig’s cross

Mike: Sweden v Switzerland has got 0-0 written all over it.

    Need better finishing.

    Sweden 0-0 Switzerland

    John Southall
BBC Radio 5 live reporter in St Petersburg

Well that was disappointing. I don’t think either England or Colombia will be quaking in their boots on this evidence.

The game improved as the half went on, which can only offer us hope for the second 45 minutes.

Oh for a goalscorer, neither side have one, it could be 2-2.

Extra time a distinct possibility I fear.

Xherdan Shaqiri is the one that is constantly delivering the ball into the box for his team. You know every time he gets on the ball, he will find the strikers, so they need to be making their runs. Switzerland have got to keep getting the ball to him.

It's a bit frustrating due to a lack of quality in both ends. Switzerland have got more quality and they have had plenty of crosses whereas Sweden have had opportunities but it hasn't gone well.
