Shaun: Apart from when Shaqiri is on the ball both these sides look very average.
Lee: England beat either of these teams in the Quarter Finals... Providing we beat Colombia tonight!
Jodmos: Ekdal would be holding his head in his hands after that chance, except he doesn't seem to have one.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
That was Albin Ekdal's first touch in the box...
One to forget I think. Oops.

You get the feeling the Swedish fans are in sync with their team - they understand their limitations and instead roar every tackle, every block, every interception, everything the players do to suppress and thwart the opposition.
But it was one, long collective groan, total angst, when Albin Ekdal wasted that glorious chance.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
Xherdan Shaqiri's ball is drilled right across the Sweden six yard box.
Where was striker Josip Drmic??
Sleeping in bed, that's where.

It is such a difficult skill to do from there, I think Albin Ekdal should just dive in with a header and stick it in the onion bag.
We have seen some really nice football in the last few moments.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
This should be 2-2.

The more and more this games goes on I think there will be goals. The finishing has been awful, it has been dreadful. That was a terrible miss.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
What a miss!
Celtic's Mikael Lustig plays a pin-point cross to the back post for Hamburg's Albin Ekdal, who goes for the first-time volley, but can only blaze over.
He had time to take a touch, bring it down and stroke it in. There was not a Swiss defender in sight.

Superb one touch passing from Switzerland but Blerim Dzemaili has to keep his head down and force the keeper into a save.
Xherdan Shaqiri is playing out on the right at the moment, to give Switzerland width, but I feel that he should be playing in the number 10 role where he can do some serious damage.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
Emil Forberg runs up and clips the free-kick towards goal, it takes a nick off the Switzerland wall - wrong-footing goalkeeper Yann Sommer - but bounces just wide of goal.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
At the other end, Sweden get a free-kick around 25 yards out.

That's underlines this game. I think Blerim Dzemaili had time for a touch, but you have to get that on target.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
Bad miss.
Steven Zuber and Blerim Dzemaili play a beautiful one-two on the edge of the box.
The Bologna man receives the ball back inside the area, in front of goal, but lashes his shot over the crossbar.
Should really have found the back of the net.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
Marcus Berg has had three shots, one on target and one blocked in this game.
He's been Sweden's most dangerous player and he's had 14 touches of the ball - four of them in the box.

The Player Rater is now live. Xherdan Shaqiri will be topping the chart.

Some sloppy play is really letting this match down at the moment, promising situations evaporating with poor passing or heavy control.
Not that this seems to be impinging on anyone's enjoyment.
It is kind of difficult to gauge the Swiss fans' enthusiasm because all I can hear are the Swedes.
Whatever happens, there are going to be some hoarse people in yellow later.
Sweden 0-0 Switzerland
Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka scored an absolute cracker in the group stages.
The Arsenal man winds up his powerful left peg from all of 35 yards out and lets fly with a strike which has Robin Olsen scrambling, but it sails just over the crossbar.
Not a bad effort from a long way out.

If this was a Swedish team including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, this would be a totally different game for me
