We're missing the point! We need another midfielder to link the defence to attack. I'd bring on Dier to free Henderson to pass the ball forward. Big second half.
Matty
Henderson not at Neymar's level? Treason.

One of the Colombian coaches has just bumped his shoulder into Sterling as he walked off. They are trying to wind the England players up, and we have to be prepared for that.

I don't think Wilmar Barrios meant to headbutt him on the chin. I think he meant to push him in the chest and then it rode up into Jordan Henderson's head. However, it could have been a red card.
Well Ryan, that's a red for you #ColombianotColumbia

The football laws , externalinterestingly say "a player who, when not challenging for the ball, deliberately strikes an opponent or any other person on the head or face with the hand or arm, is guilty of violent conduct unless the force used was negligible".
So it doesn't say if you strike him with your own head, it's violent conduct...

This game is absolutely lightning quick and they are zipping the ball about. But sometimes when the ball goes up to the striker it has to stick, because then Colombia will have problems.
Colombia 0-0 England
This could kick-off at any moment. As Raheem Sterling ran off the pitch a Colombia coach just moves across and shoulder barges him.
Silly.
Colombia 0-0 England
I mean it wasn't exactly Zidane on Materazzi but there was contact between Wilmar Barrios and Jordan Henderson as they jostled while waiting for a free-kick.
It wasn't a head-butt, more of a push with the head. But the referee or VAR decided it was a booking.
Discuss.

We haven't got a player like Quinetro, who is very clever, and when he gets the ball you think something is going to happen. Sterling is too erratic. He's too quick and it looks great when he beats a player but then he doesn't show any composure and it fizzles out.

It has been frustrating and not capitalising on our good moments, but we have been in control largely.
The more I see this game I think of Jamie Vardy's pace to run in behind. There are really good options on the bench.
Colombia 0-0 England
Penalties coming up in 75 minutes.
As cagey as the Wicker Man remake.
