Fantastic work from England. Beginning to think it might really be coming home.

    Sweden 0-2 England

England are heading to the World Cup semi-final as it stands - and Sweden suddenly look very, very ordinary. They stand off and Dele Alli gets into the area and has a cross blocked...

It has been coming and England have dominated the last 10 minutes. Sweden cannot get anywhere near them. It's a great ball at the far post, Dele Alli beats the offside trap and it's a great header. It's game over because I cannot see Sweden scoring two goals.

Again it's another sweeping cross and Dele Alli - it's unbelievable the space he has. His eyes are like saucers as the ball comes to him, he couldn't miss. We've been waiting for him to arrive on the scene and boy is he here now.

It may not be coming home just yet, but it is certainly looking at flight times and checking the baggage limit!

England double their lead! Jesse Lingard recycles the ball well wide on the right, turning in a good ball to the back post and Dele Alli heads home, unmarked, from just a few yards out!

He missed from a similar position against Colombia, doesn't miss this time. He does a lasso sort of celebration which I can only presume is from Fortnite?

    Sweden 0-1 England

For once England don't score or win a penalty from a corner as Victor LIndelof heads it away well. Harry Kane, hungry to get in on the action then gets into the middle but he's closed down.

    Better from England.

FYI, speeches aren't important. Whip through them and serve the food everyone, come on.

You can't believe Maguire is given so much space again. He just keeps winning everything in there. It's not coming off for Sterling though.

Apparently there's a power cut in Blackpool. Our thoughts are with you. At least you can read here.

Again Harry Maguire wins the header from a free-kick and it loops across goal, well cleared at the back post. Harry Kane then can't meet a cross from Raheem Sterling. Maguire is unstoppable in Russia.

We have seen more from Sweden in the last five minutes, than we have in the whole of the first half. They have obviously had words about taking a few more risks.

Andy, that particular fixture was referenced on the BBC Sport football desk before kick-off as a potential template for this match.

It's not been miles away. England won't care what sort of game it is if they win and go through to play Croatia or Russia on Wednesday night in Moscow.
