Kevin de Bruyne, lovely stuff. What a cross from the right, bending time itself and foxing Samuel Umtiti but Romelu Lukaku can't meet it and it skips away for a goal-kick.

France free-kick in a good area. This has been the World Cup of set-pieces - not this one though. hits the wall. Poor.

We have got the other Romelu Lukaku playing today, not the one playing against Brazil who was all action and all powerful. The world-class player from a few days ago we have not seen tonight. He has been very static at the moment.

A reminder that Benjamin Pavard has this in his locker (unless this was a total fluke).

That was the best chance of the game and Benjamin Pavard should score. It's a brilliant save by Thibaut Courtois but Pavard has so much of the goal to aim at if he lifts it.

We have to call that the best chance and best move of the game, but superb play from Courtois, a brilliant save from the keeper.

Great save! France could, maybe should be ahead. Kylian Mbappe plays a lovely ball from the wing into his underlapping right-back Benjamin Pavard, Axel Witsel switches off and lets him run on.

Pavard is in on goal, tight angle, and he tries to clip it across the keeper but big Thibaut Courtois makes a fine save with his legs.

Witsel let the side down there. Unforgivable on the 5-a-side court...

If things get really tough for France they'll have to bring on Lemar. Or Dembele. Or Tolisso. Or Fekir. Or even Mendy.

Almost lovely from Belgium as Eden Hazard starts a flowing move, linking up with Kevin de Bruyne but the final pass is cut out, and here comes the French train on the counter. Antoine Griezmann keeps it well, Blaise Matuidi breaks ahead but Griezmann shoots well wide.

Greedy! Ah, in hindsight on the replay Matuidi had gone offside. Olivier Giroud took a whack on the calf in the build-up but he's going to be OK.

    Danny Murphy

The last five minutes have been the best spell of the game for France. It's a really calm pass across by Kylian Mbappe but it's a poor finish by Olivier Giroud, who was leaning for it.

Getting a bit ragged out there. N'Golo Kante carries the ball up the field, it breaks down but one ball over the top frees that man Kylian Mbappe over the top. He's wide on the right but cushions it beautifully into the middle and Olivier Giroud should do better. He meets the cross first but makes no telling connection at all.

Still no shot on target for Olivier Giroud at the World Cup, but that's a brilliant effort! Benjamin Pavard puts a cross in and Giroud puts a header into the side-netting. The ball was well behind him, he had to swivel a huge amount and find the power.
