Kevin Davies added to BBC Radio Manchester:

"At Bolton, Jlloyd was very popular in the dressing room and was very popular with the fans, he had a real quality on the pitch and he played in a good period for Bolton Wanderers. He was a very good football player and always gave 100% and I was proud to spend that time with him when he was there.

"He loved just being around people, talking and having conversations, telling stories and that is just the kind of guy he was."
