The Germans got themselves into a terrible tangle and how they were made to pay - Lineker picked his spot with a beautiful left-footer. Well we did say it wasn't over and what a great moment for England and their supporters everywhere.

Mark Wright does indeed get something from a corner, he wins a header well but it's easily gathered in by Bodo Illgner.

We didn't have much luck on the free kick for Germany's goal but if the lads keep playing, and there is still plenty of time, we could get something from a free-kick or a corner. There is still something in this game for us.

Since Trevor Steven came on he's playing wide right in midfield, with Chris Waddle on the left. A good old-fashioned 4-4-2.
