Looks like a few people don't agree with Hugh (14:19)

Liz: Not sure, Hugh how Hamer is at fault for the first two! Does nothing wrong coming out, it's just great play by Aguero; and the shot from Jesus was an excellent one. Of course, we can all see defensive errors where others see great forward play.

Thomas: I think HUGH has forgotten the man called Massimo Taibi... I call him the man because I am not wanting to call him a goalkeeper.

Alek: Response to Hugh, the worst goalkeeping performace in the Premier League will always be Man Utd's Massimo Taibi. Conceded 8 goals in two games, 5 of which against Chelsea, plus an incredible howler against Saints.

Thoughts on both matches so far?

Will Man City rattle up a very low cricket score? Or will we witness an extraordinary Huddersfield fightback?

And will Burnley and Watford finish in a draw? Or do you see the Clarets edging out their opponents?

  3. 'City can score more'published at 14:23 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

    Man City 3-1 Huddersfield

Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

You can talk about the brilliance of City all day long, they can have more than they have in terms of goals. But Huddersfield from their first quality ball have scored.

City can score more it they want so it will be interesting to see what mentality both sides come out with in the second half.

Hugh: Ben Hamer - contender for worst goalkeeping performance of all time in the Premier League? At fault for all 3 goals.

    Slightly harsh or warranted?

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:18 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

    It's half-time in both matches.

We've had six goals in total!!!

  7. Postpublished at 14:18 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

    Man City 3-1 Huddersfield

If the league positions come down to 'fair play' then Huddersfield might come out shining - they have yet to concede a foul in this match against the champions.

You could look at it another way - they're 3-1 down.

  8. 'Lifeline for Huddersfield'published at 14:16 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

    Man City 3-1 Huddersfield

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

With Huddersfield's other set pieces they went short. The moment they put a bit of quality in the area they create an opportunity.

Mounie jumps against David Silva and Gabriel Jesus, he's going to win that all day, then it is all about who reacts first and it was Stankovic.

There is now a lifeline for Huddersfield.

    Jon Gorenc Stankovic

    Fightback is on!

Philip Billing's throw in is flicked on by Steve Mounie and there is Jon Gorenc Stankovic to poke in from about five yards.

It was looking like 6-0 to City, it might now only be 6-1!!!

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

    Burnley 1-1 Watford

Will Hughes goes through Stephen Ward, right next to Burnley boss Sean Dyche, and picks up a yellow.

Dyche appears to argue that it should have been red.

Will have to see that one again.

I said Sergio Aguero was up for it today and he has been the first to react to everything, he's sniffing goals. Hamer palms out what should be an easy save but Aguero reacts first

Goals galore at the Etihad, but it's quietened down at Turf Moor.

After two goals in the opening six minutes, there hasn't been much in the way of scoring chances. Troy Deeney is putting himself about - as you'd expect - for Watford, but it is Burnley who are having more of the ball and looking the more likely to create something.

And just as I write that, Deeney forces a save from Joe Hart.

  13. 'Huddersfield need half time'published at 14:09 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

    Man City 3-0 Huddersfield

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Huddersfield all over the place. They are not sure whether to defend the edge of the box or press. They sat deep for the first 20 minutes and have since opened up and Man City are creating chances at will.

They need half time, David Wagner needs to change things tactically or make a substitution.

GOAL - Man City 3-0 Huddersfieldpublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

    Sergio Aguero (35 mins)

    And it's getting easier.

Terriers keeper Ben Hamer fails to hold a pretty tame low cross from the left - he spills the ball allowing Sergio Aguero to pounce and fire in.

You know Huddersfield, that negative goal difference might count at the end...

    Gabriel Jesus (31 mins)

Benjamin Mendy got a bit of a ticking off from boss Pep Guardiola for not fully focusing on the task in hand, although last week the Frenchman did have a hand in two goals against Arsenal.

Just now Mendy has galloped forward, played a slightly fortuitous one-two with Gabriel Jesus who drills the ball past Ben Hamer.

    This is easy for City.

Before the goal, I was going to type out that Jon Gorenc Stankovic produced a strike for the visitors that sailed about two feet over the bar.

It produced a cheer from the travelling fans.

I won't type that out now though.

    Not appropriate.

  17. 'Classic Aguero goal'published at 13:59 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

    Man City 1-0 Huddersfield'

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

So easy for Man City. Aguero get the ball off a goal kick so he's not offside, the defender Christopher Schindler doesn't seem to know where he is.

He shows composure bordering on selfishness, he had options to pass, but chipped it over the keeper and defender for another classic Sergio Aguero goal.

Remember the manner in which Stuart Pearce used to make tackles? OK many won't. Well Terriers' Terence Kongolo just found his 'inner Pearce' and took the ball and took out Bernardo Silva, who frankly didn't know what had hit him.

    What a tackle!
