Divided opinion on what Adam said 13:39.

Paul: Sorry to correct you Adam, but the best midfielder in the Premier League is none other than Paul Scholes

Anon: What has Adam been drinking? David Silva is a very fine player indeed but he is absolutely not the best Premier League midfielder ever ...so silly ...you can start a debate but Scholes sees him off on every count.

    Burnley 1-1 Watford

Keeper Ben Foster scuttles across his goal to push away Johann Berg Gudmundsson's free-kick - good effort but the threat was seen early by the former Baggies man.

It's been an entertaining match so far.

Pep Guardiola has made a number of changes and left out Sane, Sterling and Walker. He's taken out all the guys with pace and got his footballers on. Guys with quick feet that can operate in small spaces.

With Huddersfield defending so deep last time, now they are moving and passing a lot easier at the moment, Though City haven't scored yet, it is a great decision.

  6. City dominating but nothing to show for itpublished at 13:45 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

    Man City 0-0 Huddersfield

Now City might have 80% of possession, and they might have already won four corners, and have tested keeper Ben Hamer - but have they scored? No.

Could the Terriers keep them at bay yet again?

  11. 'Huddersfield giving up too much space'published at 13:39 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

    Man City 0-0 Huddersfield

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

When Huddersfield came here last season they did a job on City, didn't allow them space or many shots. If they continue to let them have this much time in and around the penalty area, this game could have a lot of goals in it.

  12. 'Fantastic save'published at 13:39 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

Hamer has made a fantastic save to keep his team in the game this early. So quick off the line after clever play by David Silva.

    Man City 0-0 Huddersfield

The pattern of this game is set out early, with Manchester City well on top.

Only a good save by Ben Hamer denies Gabriel Jesus grabbing the opener as the City forward is picked out by David Silva but Hamer is quick off his line to close down the gap and deny the shot.

Moments later, Jesus knees an effort at Hamer from close range.

  14. goal

GOAL - Burnley 1-1 Watfordpublished at 13:36 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

    James Tarkowski (6 mins)

That lead lasted all of three minutes...

England defender James Tarkowski is head and shoulders above the Watford defence to nod in the equaliser from a delivery from the right.

This had 0-0 written all over it!

    Football, pah!

    Andre Gray (3 mins)

That will smart for Burnley fans.

Former Clarets man Andre Gray appears to shin a volley into the net from Troy Deeney's cross from the right.

Moments earlier, the goalscorer had a seemingly goalbound effort blocked by Stephen Ward from six yards out.

What a start for the Hornets!

Man City v Huddersfield (13:30 BST)

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Benjamin Mendy is like a new signing this season on the left. He is such an outlet bombing down the left, last year Leroy Sane hugged the wing which allowed Fabian Delph to come inside. The options coming in off the bench, Walker, Sterling, Sané, Mahrez, Otamendi, Foden, it’s absolutely staggering,

  20. Four minutes to go!published at 13:27 British Summer Time 19 August 2018

We are moments away from kick off of two Premier League matches.

It's bovine-influenced hot drinks at Turf Moor and those derived from tea leaves at the Etihad.

That all matters little - it's about three points!!

England boss Gareth Southgate is at the Etihad - was he at any PL match last weekend?
