    Man City 4-1 Huddersfield

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

When you look back on the Premier League, David Silva's name will be near the top of any list of best performances. For City I would be surprised if he is not in the top three of their all-time great players, such is his influence.

But he's not finished, he's still got a number of years at this level. What a fantastic player."

    Man City 4-1 Huddersfield

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Man City's football is great to see. You can't help but feel sorry for Huddersfield, the gulf in class is frightening and clear to see.

Huddersfield are working manfully, not leaving each other stranded and working had, but City are ripping them apart at will.

David: How is Burnley v Watford a surprise? The Europa League is often a poisoned chalice to these teams.

    Look, it is.

Steven Gerrard has now been thrown in the mix

Lew: Scholes or Silva, are you having a laugh? Steven Gerrard single handily won the champions league for Liverpool & many more times won a game for Liverpool. When have Scholes or Silva single handily won a game for either Manchester clubs?

    Man City 4-1 Huddersfield

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

This was a free kick where if he is fit Kevin de Bruyne takes it, but David Silva should be on them more often. The keeper is rooted to the spot and watches it hit the postage stamp.

He is such a class act and he can do everything

    Will Hughes (51 mins)

    It's goal o'clock!

What a strike by Will Hughes!

The former Derby man is given the ball about 30 yards out and launches a stunning strike that gives Joe Hart no chance. It's his first since last November.

This scoreline is a big surprise.

    David Silva (48 mins)

    A beauty.

David Silva, back in the starting XI, curls a magnificent 25-yard free-kick past Ben Hamer.

Now, you couldn't fault the Terriers keeper for that one.

This could be six, seven... eight.

    They love an early goal.

What a brilliant ball from Abdoulaye Doucoure. The Frenchman puts on a touch of disguise on his through-ball for skipper Troy Deeney, who with the outside of his foot pokes the ball pass Joe Hart.

The debate continues Scholes or Silva?

Anon: Scholes better than Silva? Is that a joke? Silva is cultured and elegance and plays with finesse. Scholes is the same as Roy Keane, Gerrard etc huff and puff all day long.

John: My brother loves Silva. I recently pointed out to him it was only when Aguero came to City that they won anything of note. And I, at the time of his arrival, claimed Aguero was better than Silva. So, sorry Adam, but I rest my case.

Anon: Silva best midfielder in history of Premier League?? Scholes betters him on every aspect! City bias maybe?

Jamie: Why shouldn’t David Silva be put in the same category as Scholes, The most creative midfielder the Premier League has ever seen for me.
