Lovely goal for Northern Ireland to double their advantage.

George Saville's cross is met at the back post by a sidefooted volley from Leeds' Stuart Dallas.

    Nice.

    Spain 3-0 Croatia

This is getting messy now. Two goals in a minute for Spain means they are pretty much out of sight already against Croatia.

Marco Asensio deserves to have this marked as his second goal. But it won't be, because his superb strike hits the bar and then finds the net off the unfortunate Lovre Kalinic in the Croatia net.

    3-0, game over.

  5. Postpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 11 September 2018

    England 0-0 Switzerland

Jack Butland is not giving his defence any confidence at the moment.

The England goalkeeper comes haring off his line to a through ball and is getting nowhere near it and full-back Danny Rose has to come to his rescue and put the ball to safety.

  6. Nations League latestpublished at 20:21 British Summer Time 11 September 2018

    Spain 2-0 Croatia

Spain really are on fire. They've doubled their lead against Croatia in League A Group 4. Real Madrid's Marco Asensio has just smashed a shot in from 25 yards. What a strike. His first senior international goal.

Belgium are in control against Iceland in Reykjavik. Eden Hazard gave the visitors the lead with a penalty in their League A Group 2 contest, and Romelu Lukaku has now made it 2-0.

Kostas Manolas is at it again - the Roma defender whose goal put Barcelona out of last season's Champions League in dramatic fashion has scored for Greece in Hungary, where it's 1-1 in their League C Group 2 meeting.

  7. 'Switzerland dominating the ball'published at 20:21 British Summer Time 11 September 2018

    England 0-0 Switzerland

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Switzerland look comfortable and they are dominating the ball. They are quick to win the ball off England but they make the pitch wide when they have it. They are not going anywhere but it is good to watch. England started brightly but they have come off the pace.

  8. CLOSE!published at 20:20 British Summer Time 11 September 2018

    Northern Ireland 1-0 Israel

Northern Ireland have commanded the game at Windsor Park and Paddy McNair comes close to a second but his fizzing effort is well blocked.

  9. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 11 September 2018

    England 0-0 Switzerland

Switzerland are having plenty of possession and England are finding it difficult to get to grips with their opponents.

Newcastle's Fabian Schar has a pop from 25 yards out which drifts wide.

  10. CLOSE!published at 20:17 British Summer Time 11 September 2018

    England 0-0 Switzerland

England skipper for the day Eric Dier is usually good with his head, but nods a free header wide from 12 yards out from Trent Alexander-Arnold's delivery.

    Spain 1-0 Croatia

Spain are flying. Fresh from putting England to the sword at Wembley they have just taken the lead against Croatia in their Nations League clash.

It is Saul Niguez who has broken the deadlock with a cracking header, after arriving late in the box to meet Dani Carvajal's outside-of-the-boot cross.

Peter: I don't get all this playing-out-from-the-back - just put your FOOT through the thing!

Ash: Butland isn’t even good enough to be England number 2. He got relegated last season.

Tom: Maybe they would fill a venue if they didn't charge £55 for a friendly

Marcus Rashford is looking to run in behind but they are hesitant to play the ball through to him because they might give it away. Just roll it through or play it over the top.

  17. Postpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 11 September 2018

The game has settled down a little after that frantic period of England.

Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland will be pleased.

    Poland 0-0 Republic of Ireland

After their mauling by Wales last Thursday, this inexperienced Republic team have fared much better in the opening quarter in Wroclaw. Granted, the Poles, who have started without Robert Lewandowski, are playing with nothing like the verve that Gareth Bale and company displayed in Cardiff.

But so far, so good for the Irish.

  19. Butland a bag of nervespublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 11 September 2018

    England 0-0 Switzerland

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at The King Power Stadium

What a dreadful start for England goalkeeper Jack Butland - scuffed clearance across the face of his own goal and then plays James Tarkowski into trouble and Shaqiri hits the post when he should score.

Not likely to settle any nerves and England very fortunate not to be behind. Hopefully he has got those out of the way early but very poor.
