What a way to finish the year!
That was some performance and that is some victory for England. Croatia are relegated and England join Portugal in the finals.
Croatia's players looked really disappointed. Both teams wanted this. Harry Kane and co. huddle around in celebration. They have enjoyed themselves today.

The flags of St George are being waved manically around all three tiers of Wembley Stadium. The England fans punched the air with delight when the goal went in. What a turnaround. This doesn’t normally happen for England.

Ben Chilwell's free-kick is a beautiful one. It's curled in and captain Harry Kane is on hand to slide in and poke it into the back of the net.

Raheem Sterling battles well to win a throw in the left-hand corner. England are forced all the way back to Jordan Pickford but his delivery to Ben Chilwell is excellent and they have a free-kick on the left-hand side.

Croatia swing a corner in from the right and centre-back Domagoj Vida makes great contact with his head. Jesse Lingard has to make a crucial goalline clearance before England clear their lines.

I'm sure Gareth Southgate will step away from the game and see how good the performance was.

Joe Gomez sends in a huge throw from the right-hand side and it manages to bounce its way through to the back post.
Harry Kane slides in to poke it towards goal but Jesse Lingard needs to touch it over the line before Dejan Lovren is able to recover.
