    What a way to finish the year!

    That was some performance and that is some victory for England. Croatia are relegated and England join Portugal in the finals.

    Croatia's players looked really disappointed. Both teams wanted this. Harry Kane and co. huddle around in celebration. They have enjoyed themselves today.

    The flags of St George are being waved manically around all three tiers of Wembley Stadium. The England fans punched the air with delight when the goal went in. What a turnaround. This doesn’t normally happen for England.

    It's nothing more than what England deserve. The long throw from Gomez, Croatia allowed the ball to bounce. Kane poked it through, but Lingard then comes and finishes the job.

    I'm sure Gareth Southgate will step away from the game and see how good the performance was.
