    Croatia win their first corner of the match as Ante Rebic starts the move with a darting run from the left to the back line.

    Ivan Perisic's cross from that side is cleared at the near post. The corner is dealt with by England and Jordan Pickford quickly plays it long to Marcus Rashford.

    It's a sublime ball and Rashford is charging at the two defenders before Sime Vrsaljko makes a last-minute sliding tackle in the box.

    Early scare aside, it has been all England and the chances keep coming - the trick now is to actually take one of them.

    England are well on top and we have certainly not seen much of the Croatian threat so far.

    Delph produced a great clipped ball and then the keeper made a great save.

    Fabian Delph cuts inside from the left and plays a lovely weighted ball over the top for Raheem Sterling to run onto.

    The Croatian keeper comes charging out to clear - taking Sterling out in the process - but Harry Kane is following up on the edge of the area with the goalkeeper out of position.

    Tin Jedvaj has to make a goalline clearance but it goes straight back to Kane. His second shot is saved by the keeper on his left-hand side.

    Marcus Rashford presses the Croatian keeper into a mistake, as he skews his kick out towards the right and for an England throw-in.

    Harry Kane then gives away a silly foul in the Croatian area and the visitors can re-group.

    England exposed the lack of pace in the centre-backs with Sterling's run. And then Kane misses - it should have been 1-0.

    He picked up a really intelligent position, but he's just off balance.

    Harry Kane turns in midfield and threads a ball through for Raheem Sterling. The forward has acres of time and space but fires his shot straight at Croatian keeper Lovre Kalinic, low on the right.

    The corner is then lofted in towards John Stones, who flicks it on to the back post but Kane can't hit the target from a few yards out as he's caught out by the high bounce.

    Ross Barkley flicks it on for Raheem Sterling on the right wing and the Manchester City forward drives along the edge of the box before attempting to slip it in for Harry Kane.

    It's a sloppy pass though and Andrej Kramaric clears it. The corner is swung into the near post for Marcus Rashford but he misses it and slams the ground in frustration.

    He's offside too but his attempted cut-back for Harry Kane didn't come off anyway.

    Fabian Delph is sticking very tight to Luka Modric and England win possession back. But John Stones slips it to Delph under pressure on the left-hand side and the midfielder tries to slide a back pass to Jordan Pickford.

    The keeper charges out and chests it out of reach of Ivan Perisic but Ante Rebic is following up and his curling shot flies over the bar.
