Trent Alexander-Arnold is breathing hard down Kyle Walker's neck but he is still young. His performances have been up and down but Walker will give you consistency.
We were used to seeing Walker bombing down the right wing but there has been a change positionally. He is picking the ball up in the middle and driving through. He has developed his game.
Gareth Southgate has challenged individuals to improve their games. Apart form Harry Kane and Walker, they have all got learning to do and will get better.

Gareth Southgate speaking to Sky Sports: "Jordan [Henderson] has been carrying a bit of an injury and had some game time the other night and wasn't really happy with it. He is someone who always wants to play so I had to make that decision. You need to be clear in your mind and be happy.
"Fabian Delph is the balance in midfield. We were a little bit open in midfield sometimes in the summer. He gives us that balance with Ross Barkley on the other side. We have really good options to change it from the bench too.
"It is big for both teams. There is a chance to play for a semi-final. As the tournament has progressed, it has got more exciting. We want to keep progressing.
"These are the games you want to start winning. We respect them as a team and know the quality they have. We will need to go right to the 95th/96th minute to win this game but that is what we intend to do."

Robert Tomlinson: I think England will come good. 2-1 feasible if the forwards start well. The only thing they could lack is self belief.
Sho: How Delph is starting is beyond me. The guy has hardly played all season and offers nothing really. Should be Loftus-Cheek easily.

Croatia are without key Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic for today's game because he is "not 100%".
The 30-year-old has returned to his club because of an unspecified injury but Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic's main concern is whether his side can summon the energy following their heroics against Spain.
"I'm more worried about our team because we played against Spain two days ago," he said. "Yes, we are probably tired, but I will try to get the best from my players.
"Maybe the time of the kick-off isn't the best for us but what can we do? We will try to play our best and make a spectacular game. Even a draw would be something fantastic.
"We beat them [England] in the semi-final of the World Cup. That's the most important thing. Nobody can forget this. That was the most important result from the three matches."

This is not a World Cup semi-final in Moscow but there is still the feel of a very big game here at Wembley as England and Croatia meet again.
The Uefa Nations League, scorned by many, is slowly capturing the imagination and there is a very healthy contingent of Croatia fans tucked into a corner of Wembley.
England will also regard this meeting with the side that ended their World Cup aspirations as a good measure of just how far they have travelled under manager Gareth Southgate in 2018.

Steve Howes: Are they a better side? Not really until they actually win something - until then they are the same. Yes the manager is younger and maybe fresher but 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 24th is still a fail. Many teams promise a lot.

England have lost just two of their last 27 matches on home soil (W21, D4, L2). Both defeats arrived at Wembley (1-2 vs Spain in September and 1-2 vs Netherlands in March 2016).

On Wayne Rooney's comments, there will always be a split in the camp, some will say they were better than them, maybe on paper, but they did not produce results. Wayne is just begin honest.
There will be players of the 1966 era who will not want them to win the World Cup, that is their livelihood at the moment.
I think it is brilliant, look at what happened to the whole country in Russia. It transformed sleepy little towns into party atmosphere.
When you play, sometimes you don't want the player in your position to do well. There will be players who will be bitter and think they are better than some of this group.

England manager Gareth Southgate: "We've obviously played them [Croatia] twice in the last few months. We know their style of play, we know their preferences, the areas that they build up, we know areas that we think we can try to exploit.
"It's two really evenly-matched teams. Both games after 90 minutes have been draws. I think there have been periods in both of those matches where each team has had the upper hand.
"So we've got to put all the things together and make sure we back up our last few performances, which have been really healthy, and make sure we finish the calendar year - from an England perspective - on a real high."

Six of the players in the England team were not involved at all in Thursday night’s match against the United States.
Ten of the 11 Croatia players who were involved in their intense victory over Spain three days ago start here. Only time will tell how much that’s taken out of them.

Hymphry Memebomber: The problem with England is they look good when it isn't an actual tournament. I remember a certain Golden Generation beating Germany 5-1 and everyone lost their minds then the tournament took place.
NoelmrSaint: Nope, I'm predicting 1-3 Croatia win.
Adrian Harvey: Not really no.

In Russia earlier this year, England led in their semi-final against Croatia after just five minutes through Kieran Trippier's brilliant free-kick, but Ivan Perisic's equaliser took the game to an extra 30 minutes in which Mario Mandzukic scored the decisive goal.
England striker Harry Kane missed a superb chance to give his country a 2-0 lead in that semi, but he insists he and his team-mates are focused entirely on the present and not the past.
"I've always said as a striker whenever you miss a chance you obviously have to forget about it as quickly as possible during the game and be ready for the next one - but it hurts," he admitted.
"Obviously, with any big game that you lose, you always think about what you could have done better and there are not many games bigger than a World Cup semi-final.
"Of course, I don't think about it as much any more but I'm just trying to focus on each game as they come along.
"For us it's about trying to win the game [today] and get to another semi-final."
