    Fulham

Two signings down, but potentially still more to come. Very relieved to see Joe Bryan over the line, as left-back was our top priority today. Still unsure over the necessity of Sergio Rico, but a transfer is a transfer.

I still think Fulham are far from done. Lots of sources are saying Anguissa is set to sign and Vietto may also be on the cards. I'm absolutely glued to my phone!

  9. Fulham sign Bryanpublished at 17:41 British Summer Time 9 August 2018
    Breaking

If reports are to be believed, Joe Bryan was about to sign for Aston Villa yesterday until Fulham stepped in, with Steve Bruce 'chasing' him down the M6.

That last bit can't be true - but Bryan has now finally been unveiled at Fulha,. The left-back moves for around £6m.

  10. A big moverpublished at 17:40 British Summer Time 9 August 2018

This was the moment Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was unveiled to the Real Madrid fans.

Courtois is a big move out of the Premier League on deadline day. Chelsea had, of course, already replaced him with the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao for £71m.

  11. Time waits for no Hammerpublished at 17:34 British Summer Time 9 August 2018

    West Ham United

There has been an air of excitement about West Ham all summer and we all can't wait for the season to get going now. Everything feels very different with Manuel Pellegrini at the helm, and I think we have had our best ever period of transfer signings.

Lukasz Fabianski should address our goalkeeper problem while bringing in Ryan Fredericks on a free transfer from Fulham was a shrewd bit of business too. Jack Wilshere is more of a gamble, but I hope he can recapture his best and I'm not yet convinced that Andriy Yarmolenko will come good. I am, however, extremely excited about the thought of what club record signing Felipe Anderson could be capable of producing.

He is still only 25 and is exactly the sort of player who can make things happen - something that's been missed since the departure of Dimitri Payet. Ultimately though, it will come down to Pellegrini to get the best out of this squad and quickly as the Premier League doesn't offer time to anybody.

Just as we were preparing to draw the curtains on a great summer of transfer dealings from Liverpool, Southampton decide to come knocking for Danny Ings.

It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few hours. Though perhaps even more interesting to see Southampton signing a Liverpool player rather than the other way around.

If it is the end of Ings’ time at Anfield, nobody can really begrudge him a move. He’s worked hard to get back fit after two massive injury blows and he deserves the chance to get his career kickstarted again.

    All the best, Danny!

    Southampton

If Southampton have Shane Long and Danny Ings up front there won't be a cause you can consider lost this season.

With all the players Liverpool have nicked from Southampton down the years you'd think they'd let this one go for free.

Slightly worried about Fulham's spending this window. Spending money is something that has to be done in this era of football but you don't want to lose the core of the team and potentially compromise the style of play that got us to the premier league in favour of big name signings.

    Everton

Brazilian winger Bernard on his move to Everton on a free transfer:

“I chose Everton because of all the things I had heard about Marco Silva and after speaking to him I was happy with what he said to me,” Bernard told Everton's club website.“The manager made me feel confident about playing here. He is a very good coach and he has achieved really good things at other clubs.“Everton is a club with a great structure and a lot of tradition, historically the fourth most successful club in England. When I found out about this opportunity and what the manager wanted out of me I was happy.“That is why I made my choice, because of the confidence both the manager and the club showed in me.“I did not need any convincing to come here. I believe I will be able to show my best as a player here."

A bit of a strange move this - Fulham have signed Sevilla's first-choice goalkeeper on loan - presumably he won't be back up at the Cottage?

Although Fulham have also signed Besiktas keeper Fabri this summer.
