    Arsenal 2-0 Everton

Ambitious from Granit Xhaka, but it's not a bad effort from way outside the box.

He's got his head in his hands, but don't think that was ever troubling Jordan Pickford.

    Arsenal 2-0 Everton

Neat touch that from Alex Iwobi, turning sharply with a little drag between his legs to get Arsenal on the attack down the right.

They win a corner, and are in no rush to take it.

    Arsenal 2-0 Everton

It's all gone a bit flat at the Emirates, a few empty seats appearing. The home fans think the win is sewn up, don't want to miss that train...

Everton sling it into the box again, but Tom Davies' whipping ball is cleared.

Rob Holding then just leathers the ball as far he can into the stands to run the clock down some more.

Arsenal look to have the three points in the bag, but Unai Emery wouldn't mind a first clean sheet of the league season too...

Everton have been so bad in these sort of areas.

You want Digne and Bernard in the wider areas and every time they have got it, they have over-hit it.

    Arsenal 2-0 Everton

Pretty much every Arsenal player is back inside the box, as the visitors look to hook a string of crosses in there. Everton really need something now...

Cenk Tosun does well to turn and find space on his left, but Petr Cech punches clear.

Lucas Digne then scuttles in from the left and his attempted pull back strikes the frame of the goal before bouncing clear.

    Bernard is a tidy player.

Little step over on the edge of the box from the Brazilian and a lay-off for Gylfi Sigurdsson, who hits a fierce left-footed effort over the bar.

    It took a deflection. Corner.

Half chance for Danny Welbeck moments after coming on.

Neat, passing football from Arsenal as they glide into the Everton box before the England forward is crowded out.

I've been critical of Mezut Ozil for many a year.

I think he's an incredible player, an immense talent but I don't think he puts enough work in.

    He has been quiet today.

But under Unai Emery he knows he has to or otherwise he will be out of the side.

He's at the age where he should be enjoying his football, he doesn't play with a smile on his face.

Danny Welbeck on for Aaron Ramsey.

No signs of shutting up shop from Unai Emery then.

Think the Gunners are happy to slow this down a bit now.

Just over 10 minutes to go, two goals up, keeping the ball.

Alex Iwobi looks to wriggle in behind the Everton defence when the chance arises, and he wins a corner.

Joe Wedgwood: Forget the defence, Arsenal electric going forward! Do worry about Sokratis pace though :/ but it'll come, Arsenal fans should be supportive

Nicky: Everton's season beginning to look a bit Koeman-esque

Ben: Arsenal are winning games when playing badly. Top teams find a way to win even when playing badly.

Ouchy. That looks painful for Shkodran Mustafi. Not where you want to be hit...

Meanwhile, Richarlison's been caught on the nose.

    Both players are back on.

    Arsenal 2-0 Everton

Everton are seeing more of the ball again after Arsenal's two-goal blitz.

But that's a waste from Lucas Digne, failing to pick out a team-mate with a cross from the left as several attackers gathered in the box.

Dan: Really is the oldest cliche in the book, but goals do change games. Arsenal finally looking a composed unit.

People saying Marco Silva is doing well - Everton have only won 1/6 so far this season and they've dropped points at home to West Ham and Huddersfield. I'd hardly call that encouraging.

    Double change for the Toffees.

Theo Walcott and Dominic Calvert-Lewin off, Bernard and Cenk Tosun on.

Walcott sticks an ice pack straight on that bruised eye he picked up in the first half.

Big chance for the Toffees, but again Petr Cech is equal to it.

A deft delivery from Gylfi Sigurdsson, who picks out Michael Keane from a free-kick and the defender just glances his header towards goal.

Cech does well to get down and parry it wide.

Much more from composure from Arsenal since the goals, but Everton are pressing with less intensity.

The Toffees do win it back on the halfway line and spring Dominic Calvert-Lewin clear. He takes it down the right, looks up, but Richarlison is the only Everton attacker in the box.

The Brazilian cuts on to right foot, but his effort is deflected away.

Oops, not the touch you expect from Mesut Ozil.

Unai Emery uses the chance of the ball going out of play off the German to make a change - Alex Iwobi is on for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Tom Davies, given the armband for Everton, has impressed today.

The 20-year-old clips Theo Walcott into the channel, but the former Arsenal man loses sight of the ball and the Gunners pinch it back.

Arsenal look dangerous every time they break now.
