Paul: I really wish they were filming an All or Nothing: Man Utd right now. That would be something to behold

Josh: anyone know if Rio Ferdinand is at Old Trafford? any chance we can get him to play at centre back for the second half?

Steve: I don't quite believe I am saying this, but I can still see Manchester United coming back and winning this. Could happen.

I don't think that either I, Simon Stone or Paul Pogba himself are really clear on where the Frenchman is meant to be playing.

Manchester United are now onto their third different defensive formation.

It kind of looks like Paul Pogba is alternating between a third centre-half and a very deep central midfielder with Nemanja Matic and Chris Smalling definitely in defence.

Away we go! Marouane Fellaini is playing forwards, with possibly Paul Pogba or Nemanja Matic at centre-back.

It's Scott McTominay who has come off at the break. Maroune Fellaini is on. Does that mean two midfielders are now ahead of Victor Lindelof in the queue to play at the back?

  8. 'I feel sorry for everyone'published at 18:31 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

Speaking to BT Sport, former Man Utd midfielder Paul Scholes said: "I just feel sorry for everyone. You can often get a few players devoid of confidence but the full team looks like they are out of confidence and they are scared."

Right then, I'm not a betting man. Well not a successful one. But I still wouldn't back against Jose Mourinho's side coming back to win this.

    Shock, total shock.

Balogun: It's so glaring that Man United players are most definitely NOT playing to win; how pathetic. The only thing United on the pitch is Newcastle.

Ahmed: I know Jose is the main man to blame for the situation at United but it's not one man's fault here some players need to attend football 101! The club needs a complete overhaul!

Eghosa: I have been saying this for a long time now. The players are utterly disgraceful. We have no centre back. Lindelof is not even an option. We are not creative up front. Lukaku is not reliable.

Boos ring around Old Trafford. Jose Mourinho has broken into a jog on the touchline and I wouldn't like to be in that dressing room. On the basis of what we have seen in that half, it doesn't look like they are going to get back into this one. It could be Mourinho's last team-talk in charge of United.

Manchester United have been woeful, Newcastle have been great, we could be three or four up here. United don't look capable at all of getting back into this match.

They look void of ideas and void of confidence, it looks like Mourinho is doing everything in his power to get sacked!

Newcastle have been completely different to Leicester last week, they have been phenomenal.

The boos that rang out on the half-time whistle were replaced by cheers as Mourinho headed to the tunnel.

United's supporters will back their team at the start of the second-half but they need something to cling on to.

Mourinho facing a massive 15 minutes.
