Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
Gini Wijnaldum is the man stripped and ready to enter the action. That's because Jordan Henderson's evening is over.
Suspect that must be because of a knock for the Liverpool skipper rather than a tactical tweak by Jurgen Klopp. More on that later no doubt.
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
Looks like a change is imminent for Liverpool...

Steven: Credit where due to Huddersfield, taking the game to Liverpool at times. Salah scored with Liverpool’s only chance of note. The hosts aggrieved about a penalty & equaliser that might have been. Make your own mind up on MOTD later.
Aleksander: Feel sorry for Huddersfield, they've been unlucky on numerous occasions this season. They don't deserve to be in the bottom three.
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
Huddersfield have taken some stick this season, but David Wagner has remained resolute in his belief that the goals - and results - will eventually come for his team.
On this evidence you can't argue with him. However... they're still losing here and still haven't scored at home since April.

Huddersfield's performances deserve more. Another blatant penalty decision going against them and in favour of a big team!
Chris
Liverpool just not firing this season not the sharpness and creativity like last season but hopefully still managing to get the right result.
JB
What a line that is from Matt Glennon! A shower for every goal conceded? Joe Hart will be having five tonight...
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
Matthew Glennon
Former Huddersfield Town goalkeeper
This could not be any different from this fixture last season. It was one of the worst games we'd seen Town play. You had to have three showers to get over it.
Today has been fantastic. From the start of the match Town have gone at them.
They've made Liverpool make mistakes.
Liverpool have had one decent break but apart from that, Town are more than in this game and deserve to be on level terms.

Tim: Huddersfield are giving an excellent account. Liverpool almost holding on.
Kevin Samuelson: Salah waits 'till he's been dropped from everyone's Fantasy team, then starts a scoring run.
Ismail Patel: @LFC, external midfield is non-existent. So sloppy they are begging to have an equalise
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
Liverpool barely deserve a lead but they've got one. Mohamed Salah's killer instinct is the difference.
Boos from the home fans as a few of the Huddersfield players have a word with ref Michael Oliver.
Doubt they're asking him about his plans for Sunday dinner.

It has all got very noisy here.
The Huddersfield supporters were convinced they should have had a penalty for handball, then thought they had scored and then were fretting they were going to concede a second on the counter-attack.
The managers are relaying plenty of instructions between them but I am not convinced many are being heard.
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
Two more minutes for Huddersfield to claw themselves back on terms...
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
Ooof. That was a tight call.
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
Huddersfield have the ball in the net... but the flag is already wafting in the West Yorkshire air.
After Liverpool partially clear a Philip Billing long throw, Jonathan Hogg heads back into the box where Alex Pritchard scampers clear and tucks past the onrushing Alisson.
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
Huddersfield think they should be given a penalty. Jonathan Hogg heads into the Liverpool box and the ball bounces up onto James Milner's arm. But ref Michael Oliver plays advantage as the ball breaks to Alex Pritchard, who can't make Liverpool pay. Oliver decides not to bring the ball back to Huddersfield's fury...
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
Plenty of encouragement for Huddersfield. They certainly don't deserve to be behind...
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
You have to be more composed... Huddersfield carve an opportunity as Alex Pritchard and Laurent Depoitre combine to put Philip Billing in over on the far side.
But the Dane's touch lets him down and is crowded out by Joe Gomez.
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
...but shooting is the only thing that is on Philip Billing's mind. The Huddersfield midfielder smacks a left-footed thunderbolt (Stuart Pearce style) inches past the right-hand post.
Alisson had it covered? Possibly.
Huddersfield 0-1 Liverpool
Huddersfield free-kick about 35 yards out. In the mixer? Looks too far to shoot...

Respective managers David Wagner and Jurgen Klopp are old friends.
They evidently have the same trait of standing continuously at the edge of their technical area.
Wagner is not quite as experessive as Klopp, who was just showing Dejan Lovren the body shape he should adopt when receiving possession, but he does do quite a lot of pointing.
