Liverpool are looking to make in-roads down the left flank, Andrew Robertson and Daniel Sturridge taking it turns to pressurize Mathias Jorgensen.

The Huddersfield defender concedes a throw-in close to his own goal line but there is little danger posed by the visitors.

Huddersfield owner Dean Hoyle is not sat too far away too my left.

Hoyle is unusual in the Premier League these days in that he is a local, lifelong fan.

Earlier this week he confirmed he would take part in a charity bike ride in aid of four causes connected to the Kirklees area.

He also said there was no circumstance under which he would sack manager David Wagner.

After Cardiff's win earlier, Huddersfield start the game second bottom of the Premier League.

Huddersfield fans who can remember any type of success against Liverpool have to be well past their 50th birthday.

Their last victory against the Merseysiders was in 1959, in the old Second Division.

Huddersfield's last goal against today's opponents was eight games and 56 years ago, in 1962.

Chris Balderstone scored it. It is so long ago he was one of the sportsmen who played professionally at both cricket and football.

David Wagner says he has spent more time with Jurgen Klopp over the years than his wife.

Tonight he is aiming to get into his mate's bad books.

"The good thing is I know more of what is in the opposition manager's head than I usually know, this is the only good thing," Wagner says.

"But how we prepare, how we analyse and our meetings will be like we do with all our opponents, with maybe a little bit more knowledge of what is going on in the opposition manager's head, nothing more."

The onus of ending Huddersfield's drought falls largely on Laurent Depoitre. The Belgian striker has only scored once in his past 27 matches..

Not sure what's more appealing in terms of Saturday afternoon entertainment for a Huddersfield fan at the moment.
