  1. PENALTY TO PALACEpublished at 14:16 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Arsenal

And now we do have a penalty! James Tomkins has an air shot from a corner, it runs to Cheikhou Kouyate and he's taken down by a sliding Shkodran Mustafi.

  2. YELLOW CARD FOR DIVINGpublished at 14:15 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Burnley 0-1 Chelsea

And now ANOTHER penalty claim, three in three minutes across two games.

Willian chops inside a defender and goes down, that's a clear dive though and referee Craig Pawson shows the Brazilian a card to match his jersey.

    In the book.

Referee you got it spot on. Not a penalty, not a yellow card. It was hard to see, it took me three replays in slow motion.

We are quick to have a go at referees, well done on this occasion.

  4. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 14:14 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Burnley 0-1 Chelsea

Alvaro Morata has all the questions and Burnley have no answers - he's having some half.

Again, he is played through, again he beats a man but this time James Tarkowski slides in and makes a fine tackle. No penalty, but Burnley aren't happy with Morata's reaction.

There's a bit of pushing and shoving and Morata and a Burnley defender are booked...

  5. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 14:13 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Arsenal

Palace want a penalty! Jordan Ayew runs into the area and goes down, he's clipped by Shkodran Mustafi - nothing given.

Was there contact? If so it was deemed accidental...

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 14:12 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Burnley 0-1 Chelsea

Alvaro Morata should have a first-half hat-trick! He's onside to run on to Jorginho's lovely chip over the top, takes a touch to tame it and he's no more than six yards out but can only shoot straight at Joe Hart.

Great save but not a great finish...

Arsenal are growing in stature, with Mesut Ozil dancing ingtom the periphery more and more now. He links up well with Hector Bellerin on the fringe of the box but nothing comes of it in the end, Alex Lacazette can only chip a cross behinf everyone and out.

Arsenal save all their goals for the second half don't they?

Rob: Watching Zaha for Palace feels like watching Neymar and Messi at the World Cup. Expected to be the focal point for everything going forward and inevitably overdoing it and losing the ball too often.

  9. CLOSE!published at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Burnley 0-1 Chelsea

Should be two! Chelsea catch Burnley lopsided, Marcos Alonso drives down the left before playing a lovely pass into the path of Alvaro Morata.

His touch to take him inside Ben Mee and open up the goal is sublime, his shot into the side-netting from seven yards out is ridiculous.

    Almost brilliant.

Worth a reminder that Ruben Loftus-Cheek is older than Dele Alli. It surprised me to see that on Thursday night.

Chelsea are now well on top, the midfield has taken control after Burnley's excellent first 15-20 minutes.

Joshua: As sad as it is to see Pedro come off, it is exciting to see two talented young English midfielders on for Chelsea. Could one of them fill the gap left by Super Frank?

Still to have a shot on target at Selhurst Park. Palace haven't scored at home all season, remember...

Yullaw: Zaha is so much more dangerous on the left wing than when he’s played as an outright striker.

No change in shape for Chelsea, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has gone to play on the left of the front three. Not really his position but it means Willian has gone to the right.

It is interesting to see Zaha has got both Iwobi and Bellerin tracking him, he never gets one on one. If he does he will beat you, he will go past just about any player in the league.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:59 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Burnley 0-1 Chelsea

An early change needed for the visitors - Pedro has picked up an injury and is coming off. On comes Ruben Loftus-Cheek, fresh from his midweek hat-trick.

He looked amazing against Bate Borisov. If he ever fancies playing in Belarus he'll have a statue built in no time.

Wllian is really enjoying himself on the left of that Chelsea attack, wher Eden Hazard normally resides. He cuts inside and bends in a shot like an inverse Arjen Robben but it flicks away off the forehead of James Tarkowski. May have been threatening the far corner otherwise...

Mesut Ozil doesn't panic. He is the only one who is calm and relaxed. He looks up and plays the right ball across.

  19. CLOSE!published at 13:56 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal purring now, cranking the pressure up. Mesut Ozil plays a one-two, gets into the area and cuts it back to Hector Bellerin. He's on the penalty spot, has time but takes too long and his shot is charged down by three Palace players...

    Should have scored!

The ball wasn't moved quick enough but Alexandre Lacazette should have hit the target there. They didn't have to do too much to get that chance either. They just pressed a little higher.
