The big team news for this game comes from Manchester United as Paul Pogba is not included in Jose Mourinho's squad.

Marouane Fellaini takes the £89m midfielder's place in the side while Marcus Rashford also starts as Alexis Sanchez - who started in the win at Juventus in midweek - starts on the bench.

Willian is played through on goal and he has time to look up before shooting from the right-hand side of the box.

His shot is a decent one but it flies inches past the far post.

Mina is looking the other way, he's pulling him there is enough for a foul. But Morata waits and by the time he has waited the contact is gone.

Bernard is unmarked as the ball comes all the way through to him at the far post. He tries to hit it on the half volley but completely fluffs it up and trips over his own feet.

Lucas Digne is beaten to the ball by Willian and the Chelsea winger gets a whack on his thigh by Digne's follow through.

There's boos ringing out around Stamford Bridge as Ross Barkley has gone to warm up in front of his old Everton supporters.

Eden Hazard finds space on the right-hand side of the box after he's played in by Willian. The Belgian flashes a ball across goal but there's no teammate there to poke it in.

Andre Gomez plays a wayward pass out left but makes up for it a few moments later by winning the ball in midfield.

Chelsea regain possession shortly afterwards but they can't counter as Everton press them high and force them to pass it around the back.

The second half is already better than the first!

I think Morata is put off, so the ball hits Morata rather that he hits it. Pickford at full stretch but a save you'd expect him to make,

The ball is fizzed in with pace towards Theo Walcott from Richarlison but his first touch is heavy and it skips away from him.

Fulham

It's fair to say Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic was not happy with the match officials for disallowing Aleksandar Mitrovic's goal before Liverpool went ahead.

He accused them of showing disrespect for not allowing the goal to stand.

"I've checked the clips and [Andrew] Robertson didn't squeeze up," he told BBC Sport.

Asked whether VAR should be introduced to the Premier League, Jokanovic added: "Yes. This kind of decision has to be 100%. I understand it can sometimes be complicated. Many fouls are coming from the stand now."

On Fulham's form: "We must keep going forward. We showed some sign of improvement. We need to be brave. This game is behind us and we must look forward. We are frustrated after this kind of result. We must keep going and try and find a solution for our situation."
