Warya Mo: VAR this VAR that. Correct decision from ref. But if we had VAR Liverpool would've not been able to get that goal due to VAR checks.

Chris:Up goes the shout for VAR again!!

There's been flashes of Fulham in the final third. If they can get that final pass, that final finish right they might nick themselves a goal.

I've been impressed with them, they have tried to play out. The difference between the two teams is that last five minutes That has been the biggest difference, that sharpness of thought.

Aleksandar Mitrovic looked onside - was Andy Robertson playing him on? Tight call and one which was difficult for the assistant referee to make in real time.

Fulham immediately try to respond but after some nice link-up play on the edge of the box, Liverpool get it clear again.

This game is still finely balanced. Fulham are getting chances but now Liverpool have got the goal, will they start to pull away?

I cannot believe what I have just seen. Mirtovic has a goal disallowed goal. Alisson sharp as a flash told by Van dijk 'play it, play it'. He gives it to Trent Alexander-Arnold, he passes it on to Salah. Salah is one on one with the keeper, only one outcome.

Two passes. That is all it took.

Tom Cairney crosses it into Aleksandar Mitrovic and the Fulham striker heads it into the back of the net. The goal is disallowed for offside, but it looked tight and the Fulham players protest.

Liverpool take the free kick quickly and Trent Alexander-Arnold plays a lovely ball down the right for Mohamed Salah to chase.

This time the forward makes no mistake and slots it home.

Thirteen seconds between Mitrovic's header and Salah scoring.

Sloppy from Liverpool. Trent Alexander-Arnold gives the ball away on the right touchline and Fabinho then comes crashing into Anguissa in the middle, giving away a free-kick.

Roberto Firmino is producing some lovely touches today and another one puts Sadio Mane through on the left.

But it's an awful touch from Mane and it takes it away from him.

Shaqiri on his left foot; loose ball on the edge of the D - and he misses. That is the player you want to be striking that, I don't care who you play in this league, If you miss chances you will get your comeuppance.

Lee Cook: Nice to see passion and heart in the Fulham team today!

Ed, Loughborough: Trent Alexander-Arnold has been poor for Liverpool this season. But the main problems are the lack of creativity in midfield, not taking chances and selfish play in front of goal.

Andrew Robertson threads a weighted ball down the line for Sadio Mane to run onto. The Liverpool forward cuts it back into the centre of the box and it falls to Xherdan Shaqiri, who drills his shot wide of the post.

They have done well, Fulham. Defended with bodies on the line, been organised. The only thing is when you get a chance to break you are only clearing the ball to Liverpool, so it is wave after wave of pressure. If concentration levels slip they will be in trouble.

  18. CLOSE!published at 34 mins

Calum Chambers pushes it on to Ryan Sessegnon in the box. The youngster's first touch is a good one and it takes him past Joe Gomez.

Under pressure from Liverpool's centre-backs, Sessegnon fires it towards goal but it's always rising and goes over the bar.
