The stewards running after him couldn't catch him - but one of their colleagues in the stand he jumped into did.

Oh my word! How did that not go in?

Adama Traore continues to cause Arsenal problems as he holds the ball up inside the area before laying it off to Morgan Gibbs-White. The substitute cracks a first-time effort at goal, hits the underside of the crossbar but the ball stays out. So close.

Adama Traoré does what Adama Traoré does best as he fires up the afterburners to charge after a long pump forward from the back. He outpaces the Arsenal defence and is one on one with Bernd Leno, but the Arsenal keeper makes a crucial save.

There were 44 passes in that move for the third goal. Ridiculous stuff from Manchester City.

An air of nervousness has turned to joy and David Silva's substitution is greeted with standing ovation as he is replaced by Phil Foden for the final couple of minutes.

Khan Karn: Totally undeserved from Arsenal. Got lucky with ref decision against Liverpool and now fortunate here. Title winning luck.

    Man City 3-1 Man Utd

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

The passing move that led to Manchester City's third goal must have lasted well over a minute.

It did seem for quite a while they were just winding down the clock.

But as soon as they got to United's penalty area, they upped the pace of their game and the visitors were too slow to react.

    Robbie Savage
Ex-Leicester City & Wales midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Oh my word what a team goal! They must have kept it for 50-60 passes.

Triangles, one-touch play, movement. Raheem Sterling makes a dynamic run, the ball goes wide and eventually Ilkay Gundogan makes the run. He was not tracked, he pulled off the back of Nemanja Matic. controls and slips it past David de Gea.

What a goal what a performance. City class, United chasing shadows.

David: Brilliant play and control by City. No comparison in the two teams. Well done City!

Alex Haworth: How long did City have the ball in the build up to that goal?

Ash Williams: Maybe Mourinho will learn that their best form of defence is attack. Average defence but talented forwards and he can’t get the best out of them.

GOAL - Arsenal 1-1 Wolvespublished at 18:16 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    Henrikh Mkhitaryan (86 mins)

    Wolves' hearts are broken.

It looked like the visitors were going to hold on for a famous win but Arsenal have finally found a way through with substitute Henrikh Mkhitaryan snatching an equaliser.

There's still time for one of these two to find a winner...

  14. goal

GOAL - Man City 3-1 Man Utdpublished at 18:15 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    Ilkay Gundogan (86 mins)

The Manchester derby is going City's way.

Patience pays off for City as a long spell of passing ends with Bernardo Silva lifting the ball into the middle of the area where Ilkay Gundogan gets away from Ashley Young to stab in from six yards.

James, Warrington: As a Liverpool fan following this game, I'm just wondering how are we actually going to be able to put any pressure on City when they play like this and we lose to sides like Red Star.

Ar Vind: As a Liverpool fan should I wish City to win and leave United further behind us or hope United win so we stay top. Football statistics is stressful.

Manchester City seem unwilling to take risks at this late stage. They are happy to pass it around from left to right just outside the area as they wait for a more inviting opening.

As things stand Manchester City are going back to the top of the table and 12 points ahead of Manchester United, who are eighth.

Still, it's not over yet. Manchester City have not been as dangerous as they threatened to be with a fast-paced start.

    Simon Stone

There was an exchange of views between Ashley Young and Romelu Lukaku a couple of minutes ago.

The Manchester United skipper clearly felt Lukaku should be stretching the City defence by running into deeper positions for longer passes over the home backline.

Lukaku didn't seem to agree, presumably wanting the ball played into his feet so he could set team-mates running down the flanks.
