Big chance to wrap this one up for Manchester City as they hit the visitors on the break. It's three on two as Raheem Sterling finds Leroy Sane on the edge of the area but the substitute lashes well over. Should have done better.

Noel Fitzpatrick: With City's speed of thought and movement in midfield, Fellaini's lumbering presence is a massive liability for Untied, better to get Sanchez on with his pace.

Arsenal pressing now with 18 minutes to go. Hector Bellerin drives over from a decent position before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's clever flick clips the outside of the post.

Double change for Manchester United as Alexis Sanchez and Juan Mata are sent on. Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford are the two to make way.

Still Wolves lead and pretty comfortably as well. Arsenal are not looking dangerous enough in the final third.

It is hard to believe Alexis Sanchez is still warming up, still hoping to come on, despite Manchester United trailing to their neighbours and searching for a way back into the contest.

It is less than 12 months since the Chilean arrived from Arsenal amid so much fanfare after United got the better of City to bring him to Old Trafford.

Is today the day when his story turns?

Brilliant ball by Ederson, pinpoint from inside his area, 30 yards down the left flank for Leroy Sane, who gets a shove off of Ashley Young and Manchester City have a free-kick. Sane sends the ball towards the near post but Romelu Lukaku is on hand to head away.

The Manchester United fans are starting to make themselves heard now. They have been fairly quiet since City opened the scoring in the first-half. To be fair, they have not had a great deal to shout about, but perhaps they are now starting to believe they can get something from this game.

Leroy Sane evades several challenges as he cuts in from the left and skips along the edge of the area. He then lays the ball off for Fernandinho, who shoots low and hard but too close to David de Gea.

Lovely turn by Hélder Costa and he is away down the right. He has loads of time and space with Sead Kolasinac out of the picture and he crosses low towards the near post but Arsenal clear.

Pep Guardiola's nervous pacing up and down his technical area is bit more justified now that Manchester United have a lifeline. The City boss makes a change as Riyad Mahrez is replaced by Leroy Sane with just under 30 minutes remaining.

Lucas Torreira does much better than Xhaka from a similar distance soon after, however, as he sends a dipping effort towards goal but Rui Patrício does well to tip over the bar.
