Dennis: "I had to do a double take. I saw the net ripple but it was the side netting!"

    Miss of the season?

Newcastle's Matt Ritchie only has to tap in a cross from two yards at the far post... but tries to leather it and skews it wide!

The away fans behind the goal were already celebrating.

Someone somewhere is clipping that up as a GIF which will be doing the rounds on social media later...

Burnley fan Scot Cunliffe's Runaway Challenge

Scott Cunliffe's story is one which all Burnley fans probably already know about, but those who don't follow the Clarets maybe don't. And it's amazing.

The charity worker is planning to run to each of his beloved team's 19 Premier League away games this season, expecting to cover 3,000 miles and hoping to have raised £10,000 for community causes.

Here's why he is doing it.

Newcastle still couldn't stop Sam Vokes. Five of the Welshman's last six league goals for Burnley have been headers.

We knew what Burnley were going to do. Hit diagonals, get crosses in and that's what they do.

There was no way that Burnley should have scored from a header from 17 yards. But every goal in that half was easily preventable.
