We knew what Burnley were going to do. Hit diagonals, get crosses in and that's what they do.

There was no way that Burnley should have scored from a header from 17 yards. But every goal in that half was easily preventable.

That was lively! Newcastle well worth their lead, Burnley not in the game until Sam Vokes gave them a lifeline.

That was a fabulous save. It was that diagonal ball again and Martin Dubravka was fortunate that the ball was a lot closer to him than it initially looked.

Burnley piling on the pressure. Two minutes of stoppage time at the end of this first half...

Burnley almost level! Sam Vokes wins another header in the Newcastle box, nodding it down to Chris Wood who lashes a rising drive goalwards.

More pace than a missile... Martin Dubravka shows quick reflexes to push over.

"Come on Burn-leh, come on Burn-LEH!"
