If 'I Don't Like Mondays' is rattling around in the heads of Newcastle fans (I'm sure it isn't but stick with this...), then what hit song sums up your side's current form?

For example, Manchester United fans might pick 'Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now' after watching another dour game at Old Trafford...

Burnley are likely to be without James Tarkowski, who had hernia surgery during the international break.

Fears that Steven Defour had re-injured his knee have proved unfounded, while Johann Berg Gudmundsson has recovered from a calf injury.

Newcastle left-back Paul Dummett misses out after sustaining a calf problem playing for Wales.

Jamaal Lascelles (shoulder), Jonjo Shelvey and Yoshinori Muto (both calf) will face fitness tests.

Hello! The honour of rounding off the Premier League weekend falls to Burnley and Newcastle United tonight.

Both sides are scrapping around in the bottom six, although Newcastle go into the match on a different trajectory to their hosts.

The Magpies have won three on the bounce, while Burnley have not won in five.

Whatever happens tonight let's hope it is a manic Monday rather than a miserable Monday...

What has Bob Geldof got in common with Newcastle fans? Extravagantly-named kids? Erm, possibly.

The answer I was looking for, obviously, is Toon fans have uttered the phrase 'I don't like Mondays' as much over the past six years as Geldof.

That's because Newcastle have not won on a Monday night since beating Wigan in December 2012.

Who were the Newcastle scorers that night? Here's a clue...
