A minute or so of pure liquid football from Spurs. Slick, one-touch pasing, lovely movement - Son is everywhere. Kurt Zouma ends it by standing on the South Korean's heel and giving Spurs a free-kick in a good spot.

It's a fantastic break, led by Tottenham's front three. Son has so much energy and Dele Alli is so composed in front of goal.

The difference in the game is the front three. If you look at Tottenham's, it's got movement, control, pace and power.

  3. Postpublished at 39 mins

That decision to rule out Everton's second 'goal' looks a big one now. Spurs are flying and they've silienced the Goodison crowd just for now. Can Everton fight back?

Frank Ideozu: Blunder of the season contender! Oh Zouma! Dearie me Pickford. Son, Zouma and Pickford are all guilty of that goal.

Matt Drabble: Jordan Pickford is living proof that a goalkeeper's form lives and dies on confidence.

Robert Enright: For a highly rated keeper, Pickford makes an awful lot of mistakes.

    Dele Alli

Spurs are looking the real deal! They've come from behind to lead, with a revitalised Dele Alli on the scoresheet again!

Moussa Sissoko feeds Son in down the left-hand channel, he's clear of Michael Keane and hammers in a low shot. Jordan Pickford makes a very good one-handed save but he can only push it back into the middle of the goal. Alli is there, about 16 yards out, and he cracks in a shot on the bounce that flies through the England keeper and in.

Could he have done better? I'm not so sure. Very good team goal.

Right on cue, we make a great start and then a sloppy error has let them back in. Fair play to Son he still had a lot to do. Got all signs early doors of being a super Sunday thriller!

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is in the thick of it so far - he gets a high boot in the chest from Kieran Trippier, who goes into the book as a result.

No player has made more errors leading to a goal in the Premier League this season than Jordan Pickford (3).

  9. CLOSE!published at 31 mins

    Everton 1-1 Tottenham

Everton living dangerously now as they don't close down Harry Kane inside the area, the angle is tight but even so. Madness lies there.

Kane bends a shot in - bounces just wide.

    Everton 1-1 Tottenham

An excellent opening half an hour at Goodison. If Jordan Pickford decides to come out for a ball 10 yards outside of his area he has to clobber everything in his path and clear it. A momentary hesitation was fatal.

He is only 24 though - young for a keeper.

It's a wonderful pass by Harry Kane but I have to say, it's Jordan Pickford's fault.

Kurt Zouma's in front of his man, there's no need for Jordan Pickford to come out, but don't underestimate that finish by Son.

    Son

    WHAT a finish!

This goal is 60% cock up, but 40% genius! It's just a long ball over the top, Kurt Zouma and Jordan Pickford both come for the ball, there's a communication breakdown and the two Everton players collide. Deal with it one of you!

It runs to Son Heung-min, but it's very wide right and not a tap-in by any means. He absolutely lashes the ball into the top corner. Just buried it!

    Everton 1-0 Tottenham

I think the referee's done the right thing there. Calvert-Lewin uses two hands, it's a push in the back.

A guy in the main stand at Goodison is drowning out the commentary at times with his booing - sounds like a Scouse vuvuzela. He's not happy about the referee. At all.

  15. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 24 mins

    Everton 1-0 Tottenham

    Two! No!

Dominic Calvert-Lewin heads into the net, brilliantly actually, but the referee pings him for a foul on Davinson Sanchez.

A push in the back? Yeah, but that's soft in my opinion...

    Everton 1-0 Tottenham

    BBC Radio London Sport

It's poor from Spurs. It's a great little run by Calvert-Lewin. Trippier gets a bit too far forward and Calvert-Lewin gets behind him.

This has been a fine start. Very watchable. Harry Kane now floats a left-footed curler on to the roof of the net!

  18. goal

GOAL - Everton 1-0 Tottenhampublished at 21 mins

    Theo Walcott

There's the breakthrough! And it's a very emotional celebration from former Arsenal man Theo Walcott too.

Great ball from Gylfi Sigurdsson down the side of the Spurs defence, Dominic Calvert-Lewin squares it from the left and Walcott is there to slam in, through the legs of Hugo Lloris.
