About 70% of me will be really sad to see Goodison go. The other 30% knows that parts of the ground are in a really bad state. Time has caught up with the old place.

Goodison Park is slowly filling up. And this week we heard that Everton's planned new stadium at Bramley Moore Dock has a proposed capacity of 52,000 with the possibility to add a further 10,000 seats.
The club hope to submit a planning application for the project in the second half of 2019.

Huge game for Everton today - playing good football but not getting the results. 11th isn't good enough this season, need to get the win and climb the table over Christmas, especially with United looking like they might have sorted themselves out.
Will
Everton, Spurs - the bar has been set,
Five goals minimum please.
Aston Villa 2-3 Leeds
WHAT A GAME!
A brilliant match at Villa Park sees Leeds come from 2-0 down to win it in the last minute and go top of the league.
A belter! Get all the reaction here.

Image source, Getty ImagesI was at the Etihad last weekend when Everton tried to lure in Manchester City by playing short goal-kicks. It didn't work - as demonstrated when Yerry Mina gifted the hosts possession for the opening goal.
An inconvenient truth for Spurs fans is that the more Mauricio Pochettino achieves this season, the more other clubs will want to lure him away.
At least the question "can Tottenham hold onto Pochettino?" has overtaken the interminable "can Tottenham hold onto Harry Kane?" debate.
Kane, incidentally, loves playing Everton. The England captain has scored two goals in each of his last three games against them.

Sulaimon: Everton sure have the quality to hurt Spurs and I hope they do. Decent squad with decent quality and a decent coach
Kyle: Huge game for Spurs. If Tottenham win this a realistic title challenge is well and truly on. Especially with the games they have coming up which include Bournemouth and Wolves at home and Cardiff away. Spurs will be right in the mix if they win tonight

Image source, Getty ImagesTownsend's is the best, but a close second has to be that sublime Arsenal team goal against Fulham, that covered two thirds of the pitch and ended with a nifty flick from Aaron Ramsey. Class.

Has to be Aubameyang against Leicester with the stunning counter attack and tricks and flicks all the way through leaving the defence eating dust

Image source, Getty ImagesWe all know Manchester United have quality players. Cardiff could not get close enough to them. That is the Manchester United I expect to see.
You expect that attitude and effort. They have the players to do it and they should have been doing it. It is an unbelievable start for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and with the games coming up it could be a good run for Manchester United.

Image source, Getty ImagesEverton are improving, very much so, and Richarlison's done great for them.
They had about four number 10s last season, it was all a bit of a mess, but now you can see the team's starting to sort itself.
Maybe they need the addition of a couple of players but they've got a real chance of finishing above Manchester United.

Image source, Getty ImagesTottenham full-back Kieran Trippier speaking to Alex Scott on Football Focus: "We're not far off (the top two). Looking back a couple of years, when we played teams like Burnley we'd get beat or draw but now we're been scraping the results out. Christian Eriksen scored in the last minute against Burnley and it was a massive three points.
"In some games we've not played well but we've managed to get over the line and we've managed games well."

Tottenham Hotspur
Image source, Getty ImagesTottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino: "We are on a good run and playing well, but the moment we lose games it's going to turn quick... all the positives today will be reversed and become negatives.
"I don't speak about inside of the club. I talk about the perception outside.
"It's always negative. The doubt is always negative, never positive - that's because of the history. Because of what happened in the past. We need to fight with this perception.
"It's about timing, to convince the people, to believe... I think we are changing that perception."

Great goal!
Put your names on your texts please though. And keep inventing phrases like 'letting leash'.
Image source, Getty ImagesGylfi Sigurdsson's corker v Leicester City earlier this season. Cruyff turn to leave the young pretender (James Maddison) for dead before letting leash from 35yards to find top bins. Wham.
