The crowd's going mad because they thought Son was offside and, when he went round Michael Keane, he took the ball out.

Kurt Zouma is not here to make any friends! Christian Eriksen's pass over the top is a good one, Harry Kane is in and Zouma decides to go all in.

A hefty, firm challenge that wipes Kane out but does crucially win the ball first.

Clumsy? Without a doubt. Penalty? No, not for referee Paul Tierney...

Really good, open game now! Everton fans in the Gwladys are fuming as they think the ball goes out of play, but it's allowed to continue and Son cuts it back for Kieran Trippier.

He smashes in a shot from about the penalty spot, and Jordan Pickford is right behind it.

Harry Kane then has an air shot at a cross - Spurs looking lively!

Almost brilliant! Spurs go direct, Kieran Trippier launches a ball over the top, Jordan Pickford is a long way out of his goal and Harry Kane tries to chip him.

It's a good effort, but always drifting wide. Just wide.

Sigurdsson plays a lovely ball to Walcott, and it's a good ball in, but Richarlison doesn't know if he's heading it at goal or back across it.

Marco Silva is the first Everton manager to cotton on to the fact that you have to play Gylfi in the hole. Don't faff about with him on the wing, that was his issue at Spurs.

Oh and he does nearly score against his old side! Theo Walcott digs out a cross, Richarlison heads it down and it drifts wide, inches away from Sigurdsson's boot...

Dan: Spurs have a nasty habit of old players coming back to haunt them. Hope the same is not true of Sigurdsson today. Am sure Spurs will have too much for them. Prediction 0-7.

Alexander Skulnick: If Spurs win today, it's a 3-way title race. Having said that, any injury to Kane and it's back to 2.

Good spell for Everton. Andre Gomes' lovely searching ball doesn't quite find Theo Walcott before Christian Eriksen of all people has to cut out a pass as last man.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin chases a lost cause - there's not much a home crowd love more from a striker is there? - and he nearly gets a result. He hustles and bustles Davinson Sanchez, who miscontrols the ball and maybe handballs it before sweeping up his lines.

It comes to nothing, but it's got the crowd onside.

Everton failed to score home and away against Spurs last season, Conor McNamara tells me. They'll be hoping to end that run today, though it's Tottenham who are seeing all of the early ball. Patient build-up from the visitors.

Tom Davies gets us under way!

Simon Gleave, head of sports analysis, Gracenote: "Only Liverpool have a longer current streak than Tottenham Hotspur since their last defeat against Everton. Tottenham haven't been beaten by the Toffees in the last 11 Premier League fixtures between the two teams.

"Everton haven't won against Liverpool in their last 16 league matches. Everton's last league win against Spurs was six years ago and they needed two goals in the 90th minute or later to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 victory."

Mauricio Pochettino has just done a pre-match interview for Sky and has managed to get through it without a single mention of the Manchester United manager's job. Off screen, Dharmesh Sheth was in a headlock...

This is Spurs' 27th competitive match of the season and they have a further two games inside the next week.

Pochettino described the return of Davinson Sanchez from injury as "fantastic" news, adding: "We are going to have a very busy period. We need all of the squad."
