    Liverpool 2-1 Arsenal

    Alan Kennedy
Former Liverpool left-back on BBC Radio Merseyside

I’m just wondering when Mohamed Salah is going to get into the game.

He’s playing up front and sometimes you think he doesn’t quite like playing up there, but for the team it’s working wonderfully well.

Sadio Mane's pass to Trent Alexander-Arnold is well-read by Alex Iwobi and Arsenal can counter.

Sadio Mane gets past Stephan Lichtsteiner but chooses to shoot from a tight angle on the left rather than cutting it back into the centre towards a teammate. Comfortable save for Bernd Leno in the end.

    Liverpool 2-1 Arsenal

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield

Arsenal posed the question by going ahead - and Liverpool answered it by turning it around within minutes to lead.

Shocking defending by Arsenal as well as great skill from Roberto Firmino.

Fair to say, on every level, that Arsenal have not come to Anfield to defend.

    Anfield is currently exultant.

The ball comes into Roberto Firmino's feet again and there's a huge roar of excitement from Anfield. He's been electric so far.

But it's Arsenal who are attacking and Georginio Wijnaldum has to make an inch-perfect tackle on Aaron Ramsey to deny him a chance to shoot in the box.

We asked for goals, we're getting goals!

Roberto Firmino starts the move by slipping it through for Mohamed Salah. Arsenal's defence stick toes out to stop his run but it somehow ricochets favourably for Firmino in the centre. The Brazilian literally just has to tap it into an empty net! No-look goal too.
