    Man City 2-1 Liverpool

And another great save! There was a time when no Brazilian ever wanted to play in goal but we've got two beauties in nets tonight.

Liverpool come through the middle, Mo Salah is played into the box, he gets a powerful shot away but Ederson gets just enough on it to turn it away.

Fine, fine save. Pep Guardiola is ticking in his technical area and Anthony Taylor has to come over. Is the boss being sent off? No.

I have got to say I did not see this coming.

I thought Raheem Sterling was offside, but Dejan Lovren is maybe playing him on and he just rolls Leroy Sane in.

Sane gives the keeper absolutely no chance, and in it goes.

GOAL - Man City 2-1 Liverpoolpublished at 71 mins

    Leroy Sane

What a finish that is! Again!

City were looking a bit lost but class is permanent and all that! Quck as a flash, one ball out of defence finds Raheem Sterling, he tees up Leroy Sane on the left of the penalty area and as Trent Alexander-Arnold closes him down the German threads a low shot right acros Alisson, and in off both posts!

He could not have placed that any better...

Mike Sizzy: I said it Liverpool is going to level this up come second half and they have done it, as a united fan I would prefer a draw or at least a win for Liverpool

Tony Greaves: City goalkeeper is not inspiring confidence in his back four to put it mildly.

Kolo: Bobby Firmino... Peach of a player.

You have got to look at Danilo, where is he positioned? Andrew Robertson is not being tracked, Danilo doesn't know what's around him.

It's a simple, diving header from Roberto Firmino but you have to question Raheem Sterling about tracking Robertson back.

Pep Guardiola needs to bring fresh legs on as Manchester City are feeling the pace.

  20. goal

GOAL - Man City 1-1 Liverpoolpublished at 64 mins

    Roberto Firmino

    Huge goal!

Not for the first time of late, Manchester City are exposed at full-back and Liverpool are level. It's a simple enough goal in the end, Trent Alexander-Arnold cuts on to his left foot at right-back and hangs up a big cross to the far post. Nobody has tracked Andrew Robertson, Danilo is under the ball and the Scot is able to cushion a volley across goal.

It sits up for Roberto Firmino, open goal, and he nods it into the open net. In front of the away end too...
