  3. Postpublished at 21:35 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2019

    Bournemouth 3-3 Watford

    Mark Mitchener
    BBC Sport at Vitality Stadium

No goals this half, but plenty of entertainment, tackles flying in and no quarter given by either set of players - or supporters.

It's been cagey from the two managers as well, with Watford making two like-for-like substitutions, and Bournemouth sticking with the same XI although Ben Foster has foiled them on at least three occasions.

Iain Moss: Jonjo Shelvey is a lucky boy there. Horrendous challenge on Pogba! if the ref saw that, surely that's a straight red?!

Harrison Short: Jonjo Shelvey. Dirty player. Always has been, always will be.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:33 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2019

    Newcastle 0-1 Man Utd

Jonjo Shelvey somehow escaped censure for a poor challenge a moment ago but Luke Shaw is not so lucky, in he goes for hauling down his man on the break.

From the free-kick Christian Atsu fires wide. He's been a livewire tonight.

  8. Postpublished at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2019

    West Ham 2-2 Brighton

Marko Arnautovic already has two. There's just enough time for a third. Can he grab a winning hat-trick and complete the comeback?

    Newcastle 0-1 Man Utd

    Gary Flintoff
BBC Radio 5 live reporter at St James' Park

The Manchester United fans are in full voice now, hailing interim manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. They are a long way from the pitch in the upper tier of the stand at the Leazes End, but they can be clearly heard on this bitterly cold night on Tyneside.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:29 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2019

    Bournemouth 3-3 Watford

Will Hughes replaces goalscorer Ken Sema for Watford. Still plenty of time to get a winner. In fact, you could score about 10 goals in the same rate as the first half.

    Huddersfield 1-2 Burnley

Laurent Depoitre's introduction has done little to spur Huddersfield on. They don't look like scoring here and Burnley could snatch all three points. Around five minutes to go.

  15. Postpublished at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2019

Half a chance for Newcastle - Jonjo Shelvey hits a shot from 20 yards but he gets too much fade on it and it drifts wide of the target.

Daniel Woodley: During his playing days Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was known as the super sub. Now his coaching is working on Romelu Lukaku. Football is a funny old game

Me Needham: So Ole has turned Lukaku into the super sub he was. Brilliant.

Chris Collins: To be fair Solskjaer does know a thing or two about substitutions

  17. 'Lukaku was there like a flash'published at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2019

    Newcastle 0-1 Man Utd

    Alan Shearer
Former England captain on Radio 5 live

What a way to come on. First touch. It was a good strike from Marcus Rashford, it just dropped in front of the keeper, but he must do better.

The ball had a dip on it and it bounces in front of him.

Romelu Lukakau was the first one to react, quicker than any defender, he was in there like flash and what a finish.

  18. CLOSE!published at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2019

    West Ham 2-2 Brighton

The ball is squared right to Declan Rice and he has space to look up and shoot. He gets plenty of power on it but it smashes straight into the side-netting.

That wasn't too far away though...

  19. goal

GOAL - Wolves 0-1 Crystal Palacepublished at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2019

    Jordan Ayew (83 mins)

Jordan Ayew has his first goal for Crystal Palace! He takes it brilliantly as well. Patrick van Aanholt hits a shot on the bounce from the left of the penalty area, Ayew telescopes out his right leg, brings the ball under instant control and then sweeps the ball under Rui Patricio, extinguishing your clean sheet points in Fantasy Football as he does so.

Palace lead. Can they hang on?
