    Tottenham 0-1 Man Utd

Spurs put in another cross, Fernando Llorente gets a shot away but this one really is a routine save from David de Gea.

    That's 11 saves, if you're counting.

Come on Mike Dean, give us a stupid amount of injury time. This is a brilliant watch...

    Can I just shock you?

ANOTHER great save from David de Gea! With his feet! To deny Harry Kane.

Imagine how useful he will be when he learns to use his hands...

Am I missing something about this Solskjaer revolution. De gea still single handedly winning them games. Another day Utd could be about 5-1 down.

Woodward sign him up Woodward Woodward sign him up! Ole ole ole ole

    Dan, Doncaster

Whilst De Gea has made a couple of decent saves, I sometimes don't get the hysterical response. He's doing what you expect of a top keeper. And Spurs' finishing so far this afternoon has been shocking.

PJ: David de Gea!!! Mate, u are just too much!!!

Ruairi: De Gea should be Utd's best-paid player. No doubt about it.

Shwanchalabi: Remind me again why UTD are not refusing to meet GEA demand to match Sanchez's wage? !! he was out of the world today.

United send on Diogo Dalot for Jesse Lingard. Shutting up shop.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is close to a sixth straight win, a statement win. He owes his goalkeeper at least a pint but a win's a win.

And they have been miles better to watch than in the last few months/years under Jose Mourinho.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 81 mins

    Tottenham 0-1 Man Utd

Frnando Llorente, fresh from a cup hat-trick at Tranmere, comes on up front. He replaces Harry Winks. All men up front now...

Tottenham may come back and get a draw or win it but I still look at their squad, their bench, and where is that game-changer? Who do they have to come on and do something a bit different, a bit special? They don't have it. Liverpool have those players, Manchester City have an abundance of them, and that's the big difference.

This might be the best performance by a David at Wembley since Bowie followed up Rebel Rebel with Modern Love and Heroes at Live Aid.

It's a strange substitution to bring Lukaku on, unless they're thinking about aerial ability, somebody to hold the ball up and take the pressure off.

Spurs have had 17 efforts on goal, 10 in this half alone.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 75 mins

    Tottenham 0-1 Man Utd

David de Gea has made eight saves in this game against Tottenham - Only against Arsenal last season (14) and Spurs in August 2011 (nine) has he made more saves in a Premier League match.

There's number nine! Another good save to push away a shot from Dele Alli!

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 73 mins

    Tottenham 0-1 Man Utd

Anthony Martial is not happy to be replaced, Romelu Lukaku comes on. Presumably Marcus Rashford moves a step to his left.

Harry Kane bends a 25-yarder over the wall but - guess what?

    David de Gea saves. Again.

That one was pretty comortable to be honest. Eight saves from the United number one...

    Just another save!

Spurs corner, fired in, Toby Alderweireld beats Marcus Rashford and David de Gea saves with his left foot. About four yards out!

He doesn't even need to use his hands...

United are working hard and putting the effort in. They did not do that under Mourinho.

Forget about tactics, forget about anything else. That is down to the players themselves.

It's almost a bit embarrassing how, overnight, the United players went 'actually, we're not going to try that hard. Oh, the manager's gone, now we're going to put in every single effort'.

It's nothing to do with managers or whatever. That's down to the players' attitudes.

The good news for Spurs fans, and the neutrals out there, is that there's a quarter of this match still left. It's been a fine game.

Spurs pop the ball around on the edge of the area again but it won't quite sit down for Harry Kane...
