All of a sudden Manchester United are cut apart on the break, not sure how that happens when you're one-nil up away from home, but Dele Alli is running clean through on goal. Alli leaves Phil Jones in his wake but can't beat David de Gea, who saves with his feet again!

Should have scored. Christian Eriksen then clips a free-kick wide.

They were queuing up in the middle for Tottenham. Harry Kane just puts off Lamela. He went for the header and missed the ball, and because of that Lamela took his eye off it.

And another good save from Hugo Lloris!

Manchester United counter away, Anthony Martial picks his head up on the left and tees up Paul Pogba arriving on the edge of the area. He goes for the sde-footed option, it takes a nick on the way through but Lloris gets behind it and pushes it clear.

One of you! Harry Winks drives from deep and finds Kieran Trippier again on the right, Anthony Martial tracks him 40 yards of the way and then shuts off. Trippier lob wedges it to the near post, Harry Kane misses the ball altogether and Erik Lamela behind, mistimes his jump and steers it wide with his ear!

A clean header and that was surely one each...

Half an hour to go - more goals to come? It's been an excellent game.

Manchester United are having a good spell after half-time. They've got to capitalise on it.

Tottenham are not shell-shocked but they haven't had as much possession as they did in the first half. But they will come back into it.

Three saves each from the two keepers - scratch that! Spurs take a quick corner, it's whipped in, Harry Kane meets it on the stretch but he can only head it straight at David de Gea!

PJ: David de Gea again bailing us out with two important saves in succession!

Willem Mevius: Swap goalkeepers and Spurs would be 2-0 up.

Dax Fullbrook: I was a big fan of Lloris, but every time Spurs concede a goal BBC follow it up with “should he have done better?”. Maybe we start moving on?

Credit where it's due - that is a good save from Hugo Lloris!

Paul Pogba has a speculative shot from long range charged down, he reads the spin on the bounce and gets to the loose ball first, he toes it past the last defender and as Lloris comes out the lanky number six tries to lift it over his head.

The Spurs captain extends himself to full stretch and gets a fingertip on it, pushing it over.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the man in charge but coach Michael Carrick has spent a lot of time in the technical area also giving instructions.

James Guest: After the World Cup I though Trippier was a god. Since then he’s given the ball away leading to goals more often than anyone else.

Aleksandar: With his current form Rashford is repaying the faith Ole has in him and shows that he can lead the line as the number one striker.

Tottenham will feel that they should be level at worst in this game but they haven't been able to beat David de Gea yet. United remain a threat on the counter and Paul Pogba heads straight at France team-mate Hugo Lloris. He catches that one.

The Lamela for Sissoko sub means that Harry Winks is basically the only guy watching the shop in the Spurs midfield. It makes them even more attacking and Dele Alli goes into the book for chopping down Jesse Lingard on the break.

Michael Ball: The problem with losing Sissoko is that Spurs have now lost the entire position of combative midfielder with Wanyama and Dembelle also out. Means one change is more like four with all the shuffling.

John Wells: That was always coming, players looked out on there feet after the Chelsea game mid week and it shows today, zero intensity by Spurs.
