  1. FULL-TIME Aberdeen 0-2 Kilmarnockpublished at 16:51 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

Mikey Devlin's early red card meant Aberdeen were up against it and it is no surprise that Kilmarnock secured a fine away win.

It was a controversial sending off and we'll await the words of Dons manager Derek McInnes with interest.

It's a gallant effort by Aberdeen considering they have had 10 men for 85 minutes, and they may have have got something against a lesser side, but Kilmarnock were too clinical for them today.

  10. Lion-hearted Livi on course for victorypublished at 16:41 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Livingston 2-1 Hibernian

    Alasdair Lamont
    BBC Sport Scotland at Almondvale

What a turnaround in this match. Hibernian deservedly had taken the lead, but as Livingston showed en route to the Premiership last season, they do not roll over easily. Shaun Byrne’s equaliser was a thing of beauty and Scott Pittman showed great composure to put them in front. After the away win over St Mirren in Gary Holt’s first game in charge, if Livi can hang on to this lead, that would be a terrific start to his tenure here.

The home side look the more likely to get the next goal.

  13. CLOSE!published at 16:39 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

    Dundee 1-2 Motherwell

That goal has given Dundee a new lease of life and the hosts are frantically pressing for a leveller. Paul McGowan's effort is smartly saved by Trevor Carson, while Jesse Curran should have done better moments before. Motherwell hanging on a bit here.

  14. CLOSE!published at 16:39 British Summer Time 1 September 2018

Heart of Midlothian 4-1 St Mirren

That is a quite stunning miss from Alfie Jones. The ball falls for the unmarked St Mirren substitute on the six-yard line, but he can only produce an embarrassing fresh-air swipe with his attempted volley.
